I'm a developer on the game Robothorium.

We are sorry for the issue that you've encountered in December, preventing you to play. The team was away due to Christmas and New Year's Eve vacations and thus couldn't take care of your problem.

We have found the reason of the bug, which was only happening to players with a 5:4 screen resolution, and it has been fixed.

You can now enjoy the game if you feel like giving it another try.

Thank you, its nice to see some support. I'm pretty upset about the whole thing, i had such high hopes for that game

Like i said in my review, they've not really managed sunless skies well at all. Letting bugs fester for weeks at a time makes it hard for people to play, and major ideas like my engine plan seemed to be entirely ignored, gives an impression they werent listening to feedback.

With the state its in when i last checked, there were still major bugs present unrelated to the new UI, at the moment i don't think its going to be in a presentable state at launch, especially given they're planning to launch with a whole new region

maybe ill pick it up again someday if i ever get a widescreen monitor. but i find black bars to be utterly intolerable

I'm with you on the Sunless Skies changes. There are ways to render your PC background less distracting for windowed games, but refusing to support two resolution dimensions makes very little sense - they'd only need two variant UIs. My displays are 16x9 and 16x10 but I respect how frustrating it is for you. The new UI is also difficult. I'm disappointed in the response you've had and think it unwise of them to have tried to introduce this change so shortly before retail.
