Watch the first trailer, add a few monsters and voilà! I just saved you 19 GB of hard drive!

Short and straight forward, well placed jump scares and well balanced intensity. Really good for a first game!

Really good jumpscares but a wee bit short.

There are a few simple things that must work in a PaC game, and here they do not.

-inventory stays open after adding stuff
-some items are drag and drop, others you need to click on and then click on the hot spot, you never know which
-you can't click past dialog
-the hint system only works on mini games, not if you're truly stuck, and the mini game you're getting hints on might not even be discovered yet
-some puzzles are truly illogical, others just tedious

Also, Steam overlay doesn't work ingame, no hidden objects scenes (as per description), and the teacher in me cringed a bit over the journal. It's kind of irritating that you can't do a full 360, or maybe I'm just spoiled. I wanted something more to yearn for at the end, since the story didn't come through that much. Otherwise I found the game quite simple.

Underwhelmed and glad it was free to play. I need a lot more convincing before I buy the rest of the chapters.

One of the best games I've played in a long time! A deep, dark story that you never wished would end. 'Episode One' really sells the game, which continues to build up the horrifying atmosphere even more in its entirety.
A definite favorite!
