One of the single greatest games ever created. Every single story-based FPS past 2004-2007 takes heavy gameplay inspiration from this, and so, being the rough pioneer of a bunch of modern well-loved features, it may seem scuffed in some places. But at no point does it ever stop feeling like a Triple-A game with a super interesting narrative.

If you are a sub-human troglodyte you might not like this game but if you possess the basic ability to type you will go from being an idiot following directions to a script-kiddie executing the instructions of others to someone who makes those scripts for those kiddies.

The multiplayer is fantastic for realizing why you never made friends as a child. Because everyone else is stupid.

This is a fanastic game. You even get to see a naked boy run around a dungeon fighting monsters with his own blood, tears, piss, or other bodily fluids.
