Best racing game I've ever played.

Hello everyone! I have played Forza Horizon 4 as much as 205 hours at the time of this writing, in just half a year. This is a record for me. It all started with the fact that I got acquainted with the new parts of NFS this winter (2015 and Payback), I liked them, and when I wanted to buy a new racing arcade - instead of NFS Heat, for some reason I wanted Forza. Comparisons with NSF are inevitable, because I went through all parts of this series of games with the exception of Heat and the wretched MW 2012. I'll start with the pros and cons of the game, then I'll make a small comparison with competitors. Let's get started!
Do not forget that all this is subjective and your opinion may differ from mine.

Pros of Forza Horizon 4:
Graphics. The first thing that catches our eye is the introductory race for all four seasons, from the landscapes of which I still have wildly pleasant memories. Very soft shadows, cars look just like those that drive along our streets (except that in the game they are all just from the salon, but in real life - no, lol). The photo mode is also striking, in which frames are sometimes obtained, as if they were taken by a photographer.
Sound and music. In the main menu, we are greeted by a simply amazing melody, entering the game we hear a pleasant sound of the engine, turn on the radio and choose music, probably for every taste. I chose the Horizon XS radio station, there is even a song from my childhood group - Underoath (who remembers Flatout 2?)
Open world. This is the first racing game in which I really felt freedom (before that I did not understand for a long time why in Grand Theft Auto I can go wherever I want and when I want, and in most open world races there were direct troubles (I'm talking about those games, which I played.) I really liked the Lego Speed Champions map, but more on that later.
Car park. I used to think that 100 models of cars in the game is a lot ... AND HERE THERE ARE MORE THAN 700! I was very pleased with the presence of cars from Halo, Final Fantasy XV, HotWheels, Lego.
Physics. I turned off all the assistants at the very beginning of the game and learned to ride in such a way that when I entered NFS Payback I wondered - "what the hell?" I have never played racing car simulators, but so far this is the most realistic model of car behavior I have ever seen.
Trees (small) - collapse, dust flies from everywhere, there are traces of wheels on the sand, fences collapse ... Beauty.
Races / missions. Arrivals are scattered everywhere, the variety pleases. I liked the storyline "Modernization Heroes", TopGear and the drift storyline.
Drift. While writing the last paragraph, I realized that drift is a huge plus of this game. We turn off all the assistants, turn on the manual gearbox, take any cramps and ... Try it!
Character customization. Not to say that the game has cool character customization, but it is! A trifle, but nice, as they say. At least the gear is not as ugly as in Heat.
DLC. I bought the Ultimate edition of the game, and I recommend everyone to do the same. I was immediately bombarded with free cars (some are very good), given some kind of VIP status that doubles the reward for races, given two new locations (island and Lego world). Lego Speed Champions is generally one of the best DLCs I've seen in gaming history.
Competitive spirit. Add me as a friend, we will measure the results on radars / drift zones, etc.
I have never really played in co-op, but I feel that those who love multiplayer will like everything here.

Cons of Forza Horizon 4:

Target. Perhaps this is far-fetched, but I will speak out. What is the goal of the game? Just complete all races / missions for three stars? Collect all the cars? I'm used to being led by the hand along some storyline, even in racing games, and after that I start to ride for pleasure. Immediately I went through the introductory races and a huge world opened up to me, a bunch of cars and ... I didn't even know what to do at one moment. Yes, there are seasonal challenges / races, yes, there are a lot of achievements. Personally, my goal is to complete all the achievements, after which I hardly want to start from scratch. The game is amazing, but I'm really surprised by the lack of any plot, this is new to me. In the paragraph with comparison, I will touch on this again.
DLC. I didn't like the addition with the island from the word at all. Thank you, of course, for another story about drifting and cool serpentine, but somehow dry and empty on this island. Also, it is not clear why the Ultimate edition does not include two add-ons (HotWheels Car Pack and Treasure Map).
Bulleted list

Comparison with other arcade racing games:
In almost all parts of the NFS, we had a clear goal, we climbed from the bottom, rode buckets of nails at the beginning of the game and were happy when we got new cars. In Forza, at the moment, I have almost 650 cars, and I was only happy when I opened all the Lego Cars. Also in NFS there was almost always some kind of conflict, and perhaps even a villain! Remember Eddie?
But in terms of physics and the open world, all parts of NFS lose dry, yes.
TDU. Forza reminded me very much of this game of my childhood, but TDU is dull, not dynamic, boring and empty compared to forza. The same applies to TDU2. My opinion.

Verdict.
The game needs to be taken 100%, especially by the standards of AAA games it but it is quite inexpensive. If you like to ride with friends, you will be delighted. But, I recommend taking only the Ultimate edition.
