Fun game to mess around with for a few hours, but it's got some real rough edges that prevent it from being an accurate simulation:

Weird anti-nuclear bent, I legitimately don't know how nuclear is more hazardous to biodiversity than coal and associated coal mining, over-emphasis on animal agriculture, requirement for re-wilding and degrowth which I don't get, geoengineering is required to achieve under 1C warming. I don't get why these are necessary, they're not really correct in terms of environmental policy.

This game is absolutely incredible, from start to finish. However, the game mechanics, such as the 'You must live with all your sins', are annoying.
HOWEVER, this game sends a powerful message. Every. Last. Choice you make is meaningful. Kill someone? You have to live with that burden for the rest of your life.

In all seriousness, this game is best as a gag gift.
Bad Rats is now stuck on my Steam library, like an unoperable cancer. Seriously, if you install this game, prepare to exorcise the demons out of your pc.
