It is a great game, or should I say interactive movie?
It has great replay value, I just finished it and want to see the result of all the other choices.
For me it has one flaw, sometimes character dialogues contradict with what they said 1 min ago. Example:
A: No, Connor don't shoot the girl! B: Connor doesn't shoot the girl. A: Why didn't you shoot, that was our chance.
There are this kind of small contradictions here and there but not so much.

In general, it is a nice game where you advance 3 different character storyline at the same time. It is a relatively short game but since it can be replayed more, that's not an issue. Voice acting was really good too. 9/10.

Not Great, Not Terrible

As a gamer who is hungry for post apocalyptic settings, I did enjoy Chernobylite, but it has some flaws. I was actually almost going to refund it in the first 15 minutes as it started very weirdly but it quickly got my interest afterwards.

Game is not really buggy but I got stuck in bushes couple times and had to load from last checkpoint (not much progress to lose anyway)

If you don't play it in hard or above setting, it won't be much challenging but it will be thrilling nevertheless and sometimes gives you goosebumps. But it is not really full on horror side.

This game has some cool concepts but didn't execute all of them nicely.

To unlock perks/skills you are asking your companions to teach you stuff. Which is really cool concept. But the mini tutorials your companions make you go through are mostly boring and doesn't really teach you something that you don't already know. But still I liked this concept.

Being able to change the past, or forget it to experience it again is a cool concept. With a little twist at the end :)

Voice acting was cool (original Russian option) but sometimes it feels like unnatural, very exaggerated.

World consists of couple of small open world maps, environmental design is good too. It is nice to discover them in the first half of the game but in the later missions since you have discovered almost everything, you are just going quick in an out missions, would have been better to unlock more unseen places as the game advances. At least the game is not that long so it will finish when you started to get bored.

There are lots of times you have to make decisions but apart from 1 or 2, I didn't see effects of those decisions. And sometimes the dialogue options or mission decisions you have to choose doesn't make much sense. You manage your squad of people to send them to missions but up until the last mission you never see them in action. You also have relationship level with all the companions but haven't seen any bad or good consequences depending on it.

Game has stealth concept, and it works but nothing special. AI is not smart at all, if they see you strangling their companion they wait until the end of animation (which feels like taking forever), and it is funny to shout in your comms while next to enemy and somehow they don't hear you at all? (I guess this is same for most of the games).

Nothing special about the crafting functionality, bit similar to Fallout 4 but much easier to manage.

I also wish there were more practical use for the gas mask as in Metro, but in this game gas mask felt like decoration. Maybe it is needed more in hardest difficulty but me as a person who finished all Metro games in hardcore, didn't feel like challenging myself with this game.

If you don't expect this to be a successor of Metro or STALKER games, then you won't be disappointed. With all the flaws in mind, it is still a nice game and worth its price.

TOO MANY RATS!
When I purchased the game, I didn't really had much idea about the gameplay. I was expecting a sad story revolving around the famous Black Death (Pestilence). It is indeed the same times as the real plague but the story itself is more of a fantasy.
It is visually very appealing, has really nice environmental design. Contains lots of gore elements too, well it is about a plague with lots of dead people anyway right?
At the end I am quite satisfied with the game. It was a bittersweet journey. It is very sad but also cute at the same time. Although sometimes repetitive answers for the same kind of actions feels dull, generally dialogues are really good as well as voice acting. They really made me smile time to time.
Game has some nice puzzles but nothing too hard, just about being aware of your surroundings.
Enemy designs definitely could have been more diverse. I felt like there were only like 2-3 different soldiers that were just cloned. I won't say the same thing for rats, I am okay with having same designs for billions of rats :)
Being able to going back to any chapter and play again is really good if you are achievement hunter. So plus one point for that.
Game is very short though, it lasts around 10 hours, so its base price is.... pricey and I would never purchase at that price. But for 70% discount? You won't be disappointed. It got all those game awards of 2019 for a good reason.

Wow, this game was quite an experience. It has a unique story telling. I made a small mistake by playing most of the game with speakers, definitely use headphones! Voice acting and soundtracks are really good, I really liked the final boss music. Lead actress done amazing job and we see the power of motion capture in games.
It has good implementation of perspective in puzzles. But sometimes it feels like they overused the same concept which makes it feel dull. I would say the same thing to combat mechanics, it feels dull. Most of the time I just wished there was no combat, but I also can't deny that it contributed to the immersive atmosphere in game.
I am excited for what's to come in Hellblade 2.

What Remains of Edith Finch is an art of storytelling. It consists of mini stories and each of them has different mechanics to convey the story. It is more of a movie than a game, you merely have any choice in it. And sometimes that very slow walking gets annoying. And it is very short. You can finish it under 2 hours. For that reason I wouldn't recommend at full price but definitely worth buying at a discount.
All in all, amazing and very original work.
P.S. Lewis' story was striking!

Normally I don't like commenting on games that I don't like but this one.. definetely not worth your 60 cent. I finished the game after 5-10 mins of meaningless running. Also really bad voice acting. Graphics might look good for it's price but thats all it has. The game begins in a tunnel where we hear a car crash, then we run for 5 minutes to find the car, oh that must be my car, thanks for playing.

"It was not impossible to build Rapture at the bottom of the sea. It was impossible to build it anywhere else!" says Andrew Ryan . He knows what men capable of, after seeing Hiroshima and Nagasaki. He believes that world will go into nuclear war and he wanted to build a city away from the clutching hand of the "Parasites" . So, the construction of Rapture began. A city where the artist would not fear the censor. Where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality. Where the great would not be constrained by the small.

A man saw Ryan's utopian society as the perfect opportunity for a long but big-payoff con. Frank Fontaine, he knew what happened with utopias. When this undersea utopia fell apart, he wanted to be there, with a whole society to feast on.

Fontaine raised with the invention of plazmids which are special serums made from processed ADAM which allows genetic mutation , giving the user what some may call “super powers”. Plasmids are powerful, but excessive use of them leads to physical and mental addiction and instability. This was a major factor in the eventual downfall of Rapture society. But ofcourse it wasn’t the only reason, Ryan did lot of mistakes during that time. As he says; “The city... it is collapsing before my... have I become so convinced by my own beliefs that I have stopped seeing the truth? Perhaps”.

And at this point, our game starts. Incredible story specially made for a video game. Amazing voice acting. Combat might get a bit repetetive after some point but not a major issue. Graphics are still acceptable for a game which has been released in 2007.

Like Andrew Ryan says; "A man chooses a slave obeys". So, would you kindly choose to play this game?

Awesome top-down western shooter game with very nice hand-drawn graphics.
Soundtrack is amazing too. You are playing as a former gang leader who lost his memory and tries to figure out what happened to him. Action never stops, you can stick dynamites onto rats and send them to take down enemies!
Not hard to get 100% achievements.
12 is definetely better than 6!

I really liked the visual effects. Some puzzles were also nice and challenging, but it is almost impossible to play the game without hints since you need to gather objects from different places. Easy to get 0 achievement because you don't need to do something extra other than playing the game from start to finish on advanced mode. 7/10

Do you know the quote from Fallout games; "War, war never changes"
You will see how true that sentence is after playing Metro!
Metro games have the most intense atmosphere I have ever seen in a game. Story is also really good since it is based on a novel. I recommend it to play in ranger hardcore mod. It made me rage quit from time to time but I couldn't resist to come back playing after 5 min.
