I bought Furi thinking, "Hey, it’s a stylish, neon-drenched action game where I fight some bosses. How hard can it be?" Let’s just say, I now have the reaction time of a caffeinated ninja and a thumb callus that I’m weirdly proud of.

The story is simple: Break out of prison by beating a series of bosses who all went to the How to Ruin Your Day academy. Each fight feels like a high-stakes dance-off – but instead of smooth moves, it’s dodging laser barrages, getting your face punched in, and trying to figure out what button combo will actually help you survive.

The dialogue is peak cryptic, like fortune cookies written by your therapist. And every boss has their own backstory, complex moveset, and a deep hatred for YOU, personally. Just when you think you’ve mastered the controls, they introduce a new mechanic that turns your life into an adrenaline-fueled nightmare.

The soundtrack is also incredible, so at least you’ll die to some bangers. Overall, it’s like that toxic relationship you can’t quit – frustrating, exhilarating, and so, so satisfying once you finally get it right.

Rating: 10/10, would get utterly wrecked again.
