Shapez 2 takes the simple but satisfying factory-building gameplay of the original and expands on it in every way. The new 3D perspective adds a satisfying layer of complexity, and the addition of colors, layers, and new building types kept me engaged for hours.

While the core gameplay loop is still about optimizing production lines and efficiently delivering shapes, Shapez 2 offers more freedom to experiment and design your factory. I found myself constantly tweaking and improving my layouts. The learning curve is smooth, with new mechanics introduced at a good pace.

The visuals are clean and functional, and the UI is intuitive. Performance is also excellent, even with massive factories.

Overall, Shapez 2 is a worthy successor that builds upon the original's strengths while adding its own unique flavor. If you enjoy puzzle games or automation games, Shapez 2 is definitely worth checking out.

I keep coming back to this game every once in a while and still find it as fun to play as it was on day 1.

Great gameplay and much needed content update with the new patch.

To the Moon erzählt eine Geschichte, wie man sie nur selten findet und die zurecht mehrfach ausgezeichnet wurde. Witz und Spannung wechseln sich dabei ab, sodass das Spiel nicht in Melancholie versinkt aber es trotzdem schafft, ordentlich Gefühle zu wecken. Die Musik tut ihr Übriges und ist definitiv eine gesonderte Erwähnung wert.

Dass das Spiel ohne Kämpfe und Tempo auskommt und daher strenggenommen auch kein Spiel ist, macht es zugegeben nicht für jeden interessant. Es wurde aber auch konzipiert, eine Geschichte zu erzählen und das macht es dafür umso besser. Ein Must-Play für jeden, der nicht unbeding Action voraussetzt.
