I wouldn't even know where to start with a review of this game. There's just so much to talk about. It's really a great game - if you love RPGs and turn-based combat, you really shouldn't miss this one out. 9.5/10 from me - I'm only taking half a point of because quest-wise sometimes there's just too much stuff going on at the same time which can be a bit confusing. Other than that it's an amazing game and experience, and playing it with friends is even better.

This is a money grab. It's hard to imagine how this game passed the testing phase (if there was any) and how it was released into a full-priced full release instead of early access. And the CEO's reaction to valid criticism is probably the most insane part. This game is riddled with bugs, there are huge issues with economy and how the game works in general, big performance issues, poor building variety etc. The only improvement from the first game is the overall design style and better road building tools, but that's about it. The updates are veeeery slow and the developer is not fulfilling their promises to the community at all. Not to mention that after half a year there is still no mod support. Avoid this game until it gets properly fixed (hopefully it does but in this tempo it's gonna take forever).

The epic adventures of the badass Czechoslovak legion in an armored train on the journey through Russia during the civil war, done as a great semi-historically-accurate strategy/management game that's challenging and captivating. Definitely better than expected, I enjoyed the entire playthrough which lasted an impressive 33 hours. If you like top-down strategy war games and games like Frostpunk or This War of Mine, give this one a go!

Brilliant! Even though it's not too long and not as convoluted as the original games, for a community-made project this has the look and feel of a full Portal game. It has beautiful environments, new mechanics, both easy and difficult puzzles, a storyline, voice acting, and an awesome custom soundtrack in the spirit of Portal, which is great and suits the game perfectly. And best of all - it's free, so go give it a go!

Excellent game with a very original and interesting mechanic of figuring out words and sentences in different fictional languages by observing things around you, talking to people and using logic. It has just the right amount of difficulty, a mysterious and captivating story, a beautiful world, art and great soundtrack. Definitely recommended.

The developers certainly learned a lesson from the last two games and brought back a masterpiece! Certainly the best Trine game so far. More beautiful than ever, with more content, more engaging puzzles and more skills. Easily one of the best co-op games out there.

In the era of shovelware and unfinished games, this game shines like a bright beacon of hope. It is beautiful, fun, there's lots to do and it just keeps giving and giving. You can clearly see that it was made with love and crafted to perfection. Definitely recommended!

This game goes from 9/10 to 6/10 to 8/10 back down to 5/10. A disappointing rollercoaster. The beginning is great, the design, art, gunplay, soundtrack and performance are all great. But... the main protagonist is awful and annoying with the "humor" of a 10-year-old, who hates everything for no reason; the "open world" is pretty bad, infinitely respawning and self-repairing robots are a bad experience, some weapons and weapon upgrades are underwhelming and you get the feeling that there is actually not much to do in the open world as you would like. You kinda just rush to do the "dungeons" and the story missions, which are the only fun part of the game. But just when you get used to the rhythm of the game, and you start enjoying it with your new weapons and abilities and upgrades, thinking "wow, this story mission is cool, finally we are getting to the good part of the game", the game suddenly slaps you in the face and ends. Just like that. And you're sitting there feeling like you've been deceived by the game itself. 14 hours for the main story (and a bit of sides) is criminally low for a game of this type, which is further enhanced by the fact that the writing and pacing is just all over the place. I cannot recommend this for the full price. On a good sale, maybe.

This game has a solid base and a lot of potential, but in its current state (which is more like an early access or pre-beta) I cannot recommend it. There's just so many glaring issues that take away a LOT of enjoyment from what could be an enjoyable experience.

First are the technical issues and major oversights - a lot of bugs, textures not loading, trash appearing back after you destroyed it, destroying the whole floor in your entire lobby because you hit a tile in the restaurant with a hammer (this was seriously annoying), extremely annoying UI where you have to scroll through what feels like hundreds of color variations which are completely useless (I don't need 20 different shades of purple, I need the same materials/colors on different objects to make them match better), inability to browse these colors by categories or names, inability to save your favorite colors and materials for later use (now if you want to mix two colors of the same floor, you have to scroll through hundreds of colors back and forth like an idiot), inability to snap furniture in place (which makes placing things that you want symmetrical or in a straight line very challenging and annoying), inability to mirror objects, and many more minor and major inconvenient things which overall make the experience worse. This also includes the very weird NPCs that feel absolutely dead, they move in the most random manner, they barely interact with anything, they sit on air a few inches above chairs, and in general the whole hotel just feels very disturbingly dead and glitchy with people kinda moving around, stuck in the floor and in the elevator and in each other. The lighting is also very weird sometimes - in a lot of places the shadows just feel way too dark, and some objects cast weird dark shadows in places they shouldn't do. And adding lighting in the rooms without windows doesn't do much either - almost every bathroom without a window ends up looking like from a horror scene with almost pitch black dark areas and basically no way to mitigate this with lamps. The shading on this part could use some more work to make lights and darks more balanced and realistic.

Then there is a more subjective issue - the story (?), which I guess is there but is also kinda confusing and not very enjoyable for me. You inherit a hotel and then there's... a random chicken running around your hotel who is destroying your furniture and then wants to play dice with you for some reason...? And then a cowboy comes and wants you to place 3 hay bales in the lobby, which you can just sell back immediately after you placed them and no one cares. I just don't understand what the devs were trying to accomplish by adding completely random stuff like this in the game. It doesn't add any enjoyment, just confusion. I was expecting something along the lines of a management system, like choosing your own prices for the rooms, hiring different staff to do things for you, solving guests' issues (other than having to knock on a door twice which solves the issue and takes 5 seconds) etc. But at this moment, as far as I know, there is nothing like this in the game, which makes playing it rather dull and uninteresting after a few hours which you'll spend on renovating just the first two rooms (during which the game will also disturb you with the most random and uninteresting "quests" like "Go turn a valve in the basement" or "Go flick a switch in the basement").

I hope the devs will be solving all of these issues and adding more stuff in the game in the future, as this could become a really good game if given proper care and time. Then I might change the review to positive, but right now I can't do it because of these many many issues.
