Another victory for the right side of history.

We dive together, or not at all.
Democracy prevails, brothers and sisters. Always.

Destroy All Humans!
This game is exactly what it was for me when I was a kid.

When I played this game for the first time circa 2006-2008, I had an absolute blast. Did I understand any of the jokes? Absolutely not, all I knew was that I was an alien with a saucer blowing stuff up, and man, was that enough for me.

This remake has achieved exactly what I believe they've gone for. They've remade the game in the hopes of making it what it was for us back in the day, and they've done a damn good job.
The bountiful memories I have of playing this game as a child were only reinvigorated when I started up the game, and I was able to perfectly recite the entirety of the opening cut-scene. It was everything that I had ever hoped.

However, the few creative liberties they've taken with the game, I can't be upset with. Bugs exist, but they were few and far in between for my play through, and the only thing I had to truly work to learn was the reworked systems. (Holobobbing, the new distract/forget/follow system, restricted areas, etc.)
The only thing I can say that genuinely upset me was that there was a lack of cheat codes. Simply put, this is an absolutely marvelous remake, and I'd give it a 9 out of 10 on any day.

Thank you BFG, for taking on the immense task of revitalizing this archived memory for thousands of people, and thanks to THQ for providing BFG the opportunity to take on this task.
I'll be awaiting you guys in 1969. Let's get groovy.
