Limbus Company is without a doubt one of the most unique and captivating games I’ve played in a long time. From the very start, I was immediately drawn into its deep and complex world, and I can confidently say it has become one of my all-time favorite games. The way it combines storytelling, art direction, and atmosphere is simply outstanding, and even now, with the game far from complete, it continues to leave a lasting impression.

What truly sets Limbus Company apart is its direct connection with Lobotomy Corporation and Library of Ruina. These games aren’t just loosely related; they’re all part of the same universe, with the story continuing from one game to the next. Everything, from the lore to the characters, builds on what came before. If something happens in Lobotomy Corporation, you’ll find traces of it in Limbus Company. The depth and continuity across the games are amazing, creating a rich, interconnected world. Even if you haven’t played the previous titles, the story’s complexity will still draw you in. But for those who have, it’s like watching a larger narrative unfold piece by piece.

Now, let’s talk about the music, because the OST is nothing short of phenomenal. Whether you’re in the thick of an intense battle or simply hanging out in the main menu, the soundtrack always sets the perfect tone. It’s immersive, dynamic, and truly elevates the experience. Even in quieter moments, the music maintains its impact, adding to the atmosphere without ever feeling out of place. Each track feels carefully designed to enhance every moment, almost as if the music itself is a character in the game, guiding you through the story. I’ve spent countless hours playing, and sometimes I leave the game open just to enjoy the soundtrack a little longer. It’s that good.

The art style is another major highlight. The visuals are stunning dark, gritty, and perfectly aligned with the game’s tone. What’s even more impressive is how the artwork continues to evolve with each update, especially as new cantos and characters are introduced. The world gets richer and more detailed, and each new addition feels like a step up in visual quality. Over time, the game"s art has become even more immersive and striking, as every update seems to push the boundaries of what the team can achieve.

Now, the gameplay... well, if you’re like many players, you might find yourself going into battles without reading anything at all. The combat system is unique, with its mix of turn-based strategy and randomized elements. It can feel chaotic, and sometimes you’ll just click through without paying much attention but that’s part of the fun! There’s a certain satisfaction in figuring things out on the fly, even if it means retrying battles a few times.

Even if you’ve never played Lobotomy Corporation or Library of Ruina, you can still enjoy Limbus Company. You might miss some references or details, but the game’s core experience is incredibly engaging. With its ongoing updates and evolving narrative, Limbus Company offers a rich and immersive world that sticks with you long after you’ve finished playing.
