A very enjoyable Idle Game.
Starts out outside just as a run down old haunted house, but by the time you get late game it's decked out like the most epic and sick Halloween Party you could imagine. With witches flying around, a Lovecraft horror squid reaching out the bottom, and zombies shimming around all around.
Also unlock other rooms, like a prepper bunker, the main hall, and a mad scientist lair in the basement. as well as a haunted bathroom in the most recent update as of the time of this review.

I'm not one to explain to you what an idle game is or how they work, just that this is a good fun one.

This is one of those games I wish there was a middle option on the reviews. not recommended but not a full on dislike either.

The basics of this game is you play an unnamed astronaut sent to Mars to investigate an SOS and the loss of contact with the residents on the colony there. Once arriving, he has to defend various generators from mutants/aliens/Martians/something. It's not really clear what they are, and only one of the cutscenes references them as "mutants".
The game looks like a typical Flash game of old and not very complex. basically a 2D wave survival game with you against a bunch of mindless enemies that only walk back and forth. there's different types of mutans, starting with just the red ones. but every few levels or less, a new variant appears, from green ones that tank 4 times as many shots, to speedy blue ones that much faster but can't take a hit. and flying ones that move slow but do a lot of damage. The enemies will path find towards the generator on each mission and start attacking it, or if you get close enough to them they will attack you also, however they never specifically go after you, even in the last level that has no generator and you just have to kill a bunch of them.
If they destroy the generator, which has a health bar, you lose, or if you lose your health you lose. The game is fairly easy and power ups like health or other weapons spawn constantly. so it's difficult to actually die. I never actually died. but I did struggle on one of the levels where they kept destroying the generator. but I finally figured out the pattern on the 4th try and beat it no problem. I didn't lose any other rounds.

You have unlimited ammo in your gun, but 4 shots before an automatic reload. you can also pick up temporary weapons around the map that spawn and range from faster firing machine gun with a larger magazine to a big plasma gun to even a 3 shot plasma shotgun. Each one also has unlimited ammo but with reloading needed after a few shots. however each one you can only have for 30 seconds.

the game isn't bad, but needs some quality of life updates to be good. for one you have no idea how many enemies you have to kill for the round to end. There is no enemy counter, there is no progress bar or any time limit. there's no indication at all on your progress during a round. you just have to keep killing mutants until it says you win. these can last from 5 to 10 minutes sometimes. there really needs to be an indicator of how many to kill.

there's 12 rounds where you defend a generator. they aren't to difficult except for one. and then the final round 13 is you just have to kill a bunch of them till you win. no generator. it's not difficult, just needs improvements. If you don't die or have to start over, you can beat it in about an hour. It's nothing to write home about but can be a fun little time waster for an hour.

Not bad... but not good. and there's enough material here I can make a voice acting video on Hyper Frost Productions.

A fun puzzle game with cool mechanics. Not too hard to pick up, can be a bit to master, but should only take you maybe an hour or two max to beat it.

Good game, short and fun puzzle. Nice scares.
It's very short, good story, and very well done for a free project. I talked with the developer and she and her friend did this as an intern project while trying to apply for Blizzard. so this is very impressive.

this game starts out fun for the first few levels but becomes an absolute slog later on.

In order to progress each level, you hide a number of Easter Eggs as the bunny and then get to the exit. To do this there are highlighted circles that randomly spawn in locations on the map, every time you are defeated or start a level over they are in new locations at random. you have to walk to a circle, press "Z" to drop an egg there and then go to the next. once you do like 3 of 3, 5 of 5, or 6 of 6.. you then return to the exit and have a 5 second extraction timer.
If kids walking around the map find an egg, they steal it and you have to go retrieve it from the base they take it to and hide it again. if they see you with their vision cone, you lose. if they get 3 of your eggs to the HQ and you don't get them back in 30 seconds, you lose.

These kids arn't difficult to avoid in the first few levels but it can get annoying figuring out a good timing to put eggs in circles and then sprint to the exit and extract before one is found. this becomes soooo tedious in later levels, to the point I had to stop on level 12 as the sheer random chance of the placement of the circles and the walking of the kids makes it a massive game of luck and timing.

The achievements are tied to collectables, carrots in each level. you can get the carrot achievement separate from beating the level or not. that's my recommended strategy. starting a new level, don't worry about hiding eggs. try to find all the carrots in one life without being spotted to get the achievement. then do the eggs. you do not have to do them at the same time.

Here's an issue.. level 8 is broken. You're supposed to collect 6 carrots on level 8 to get the achievement for that level. There are only 5 carrots. I am not the only one who's found this problem. level 8 achievement is impossible to get without tools and i do not advocate for that at all. Unless you're a filthy cheater, it is impossible to get the level 8 achievement. so if you do have the achievement, people know you cheated.

that is all. don't get this game

Considering the price of this game, it's decent enough for what it is. If the game was any more expensive it wouldn't be worth it at all. That said, a dollar isn't bad, though you can wait for it to go on sale for 49 cents as well.

This is an odd little game, that I feels like, not someone's first attempt at a game, but perhaps this is their 3rd or 4th time and they are starting to figure out a lot of the mechanics and atmosphere while experimenting with 3D games. It runs really rough, but I can tell someone had a good idea here.
I'm putting this in the not recommended because it's not really that fun to play.
You start off being dropped into a random spot in a neighborhood with the goal of searching each house for 5 cursed dolls. Somehow, for unexplained story reasons, finding all 5 dolls lifts the curse of "laziness" and the haunting goes away. Somehow, "laziness is why there's ghosts in the houses, dead people.. and a 3 headed monster roaming the streets. Why and how does this work? no idea. Why does finding 5 random cursed dolls that look like winged orc rejects lift the curse? no idea.

Anyways, the location of each doll is somewhat randomized so you have to explore every house to find them. All the while there's a large 3 headed CGI monster that walks the streets, if it sees you it sprints at you to catch you. If it gets you, it's game over and you start again. You have to enter a house and close the door behind you to stop it from chasing you. Just don't stand too close to the door or walls as it's arms can still clip through and grab you anyways.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but sometimes the monster will also spawn inside a house and you just have to leave to other houses, wait for it to despawn and come back later. I even had one case, in the very first game of this I played, where I had 3 of the dolls and suddenly the monster spawned on top of me in the house and I instantly lost. No warning at all, just boom it was there and had me.
Other than the monster, there's also ghosts that are somewhat random in houses. Your camera shakes and you start moving really slow when your close to one. If you touch the ghost outright, you die, which also there's an achievement for that. you also have a health meter of some sort but it only goes down when you're staring at a ghost and you heal when you look away. so you can also die by staring at a ghost for too long. A strange mechanic.

There's nothing else to do in the game, find the dolls, avoid the monster and don't die to the ghosts. there's also "secret" locations for achievements, but they're not so much secret as just visiting certain locations or staring at the right objects. there's a guide on the community hub that helps with these if you get stuck.

This game also makes my computer run super sluggish. I finally had to turn the graphics settings down a bit to help with this. I don't understand why it does though as the whole game is literally one neighborhood block with probably less than 20 houses total. there's no real sky box, and if you stand on a trashcan by the boarder fence can see the world ends just a few yards out. I have no idea why a location that amounts to about 6 CoD zombies Nuke Towns put around each other makes a 3 and a half GB game and runs so bad.

That being said, it's not terrible. If you want something that's fairly easy to get 100% achievements and good for a slight scare, as well as see someone's decent attempt at a horror game, maybe give this a shot. it's worth it at the price. However it's not really a fun game.
so I'll leave it at that.

CSGO got yeeted and everybody's hard earned achievements just erased. Doesn't mater if you got 70 hours or 7000 hours... all that gone. F*ck the devs on this one. At least now I can uninstall this game and free up hard drive space. selling my skins to. Not coming back

Terrible platformer game. simple mechanics but the hitboxes and controls are horrid. The theme doesn't even make sense. Why are you a porcupine jumping on logs to find a wrench that makes the water tower start spewing?
You also can slide around and jump for a couple seconds while dead before the level restarts. Not much to say other than it's just terrible. Not worth even at a discount.
that being said, still with just 12 levels I beat the game fully in 16 minutes.

This review is a continuation of my reviews for Zombie Solitaire 2 Chapters 1 and 2, read those first.

This game is once again nearly identical to Chapter 1 and 2, with the same mechanics... except a new mini game is added in this one you have to do every now and then. And honestly, this one is pretty annoying. It has the same candies form the Match 3 elements, but they are lined up on the left side of the screen. You have zombie icons then start moving towards a rope on the left hand side of the screen with a code of candies under them. you have to click on the candies you have on the left in the same order as the zombie to build up your chain, then click on the zombie and launch a blast to kill it. Some zombies have a single candy under them and are easy, some have 5. It's not too difficult at first, but once it gets to where you have 5 on the screen at the same time each with 5 candies under them moving towards you, it gets petty hectic. Though if you fail, easier zombies seem to appear on a retry.
These aren't super hard, but more annoying and stressful than anything. There's no fun in these mini games.

The Match 3 levels are back and also seem slightly easier again. however, this game has several bugs in it the others didn't, which can make some of the match 3 levels a chore to finish. with lines bugging and candies not falling nay more. or random rapid switching candies, that actually sometimes cna help you as the glitch through several lines at once.

I was also more in the flow this time I guess, and also with the match 3 levels not being quite as difficult and got through this game faster than the other two. just look at my hours difference.
however the bugs in Chapter 3, and those annoying minigames introduced, I would say this one is a skipper unless you want to complete all 3 chapters.

I may go back and play Zombie Solitaire 1 later on, especially for my new YouTube channel.

This review is a continuation of my review of Zombie Solitaire 2 Chapter 1. Read that review before coming to this one.

This game is largely the same as Chapter 1, with a lot of the same problems. Though some hidden object mini games are added to this one. As well as I believe one other random one off minigame that is never repeated again. Same basic mechanics, almost the same achievements, just different hands, different choices in cut scenes to make... and the return of those pesky match 3 levels. Though for the most part, the difficulty of the match 3 levels in getting 3 stars on all of them seems to be slightly lessened. There were still a few of these that I got hung up on for a while, but no where near as as Chapter 1, Just look at my game play time difference.
Still a pretty good game.
Not much else to add that's different from Chapter 1.
Review for Chapter 3 next....
