Here are my thoughts on the current situation.

Valve won"t fix the bot problem, even if the community review bombs or puts up more websites to fix the game. They likely want to let it die, I don"t blame any new developers working on this not wanting to touch over a decades worth of code and having to write new stuff into it.
If you want to avoid the current issue, the only thing to do now is to join community servers, or queue up for a comp match to not get any bots.
I have in the past had the "#SaveTF2" tag in my profile somewhere as I still had hope for valve to get a grip, but I no longer do. I am only making this review to let others know that valve more then likely doesn"t care and want to focus on other things. They really only do bug fixes now and small map changes.

Over all, it is a pretty good game, maybe one of the best games I"ve ever played in my life. I had a lot of fun playing with friends and randoms. Made a few clip videos, & attended many in game events that may have occurred over my 2000+ hours of playtime. There might not be another game like this that will be extremely fun.
