RPG Maker MV is one of the most intuitive pieces of game-development software I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Beautiful graphics, easy-to-use interface, and limitless configurations of mechanics. This game is the pinnacle of innovation in the game development genre. While yes, engines like Clickteam and Gamemaker have a larger demographic - that is, more genres - RPG Maker exceeds both of them by maximizing development potential. Its frenzy of popularity of the late 2000's to the early 2010's may be declining, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's gotten any worse. Quite the contrary, in fact. Makes it seem a little more like the underdog engine with big ideas. And that is exactly what it is. A great engine with even greater ideas and potential. Buy this tool. Even if you aren't an avid game dev, getting started is as easy as watching a Youtube tutorial and setting aside a few hours to play with it.
