I will update this review when I delve deeper into the game, but for now let me say that Caves of Qud is a combination of a lot great stuff and every each one of it are explored deeply..

- I love the UI/UX and how I can play this kind of game intuitive enough after several hours with a controller.
- I love all the random generated writing and also pre-written one, it filled with very unique and distinct style of writing.
- I love the mechanics, from the mutation, the items, the way the factions interact with each other and how we can manipulate all of those and I only even playing a Roleplay mode with one character for now.
- I love how the lore built up and they are not trying to shove it in your mouth, you can decide how much you want to explore each aspect of the game freely.

There are plenty of interesting things happened because of my decision in-game, very sandbox but not as overwhelming as Dwarf Fortress..

This is one of the best game I have ever played for a while. A series of 50 retro-style game with modern sensibility, an ode to the time where game is very deep with minimal mechanics. All of the game only have d-pad and two-buttons input. I wish the developers make a fictional documentary or blogpost on their developing journal, then it will be a perfect treat, a great library of games with game-design and history lesson.

The bartender is pretty polite and he won"t let me point my gun towards him, very fair! as long as he keep on supplying my mouthless face with some drink, I guess I will pay for it.

Dog is lovely/10, very recommended if you find life is repetitive

Disclaimer: I never experienced Cyberpunk pre-2.0 and Phantom Liberty

Eventhough relatively small, the additional Dogtown area is feel really alive and makes Night City feels even more alien yet felt strangely familiar, the chaotic it adds but also the little hope that you can find inside this warzone.

Side-quest from Mr. Hands the fixer from Dogtown are all really great and feels even more impactful and real, some additional details from the base game that impact little stuff in the expansion makes it felt that Phantom Liberty already part of the plans from the beginning.

+ Dungeon-based boss fight really fun, eventhough only 3 and I can say that the boss fight in this side quest are better than the main-quest boss.
- Car gig from El Muerte is annoying

10/10 you have to include this as part of your Cyberpunk 2077 experience

TLDR; everyone have to experience this masterpiece!

One of the best experience I ever had from a video game, the setting and story feels like very close at home, even though the setting is something that still remain a fiction, but every little problems that peoples in Night City experienced are something that can be spotted in the news or from someone that you know or even your own experience.

Gameplay also fun enough to keep you wanting more, the combat is very stylish and plenty of approaches to resolve a quest with different build. There are some issue like minor bug, some identical NPCs on the street, but all those are not really hinder the overall almost perfect experience.

gameplay 8.5/10
story 9.5/10
music 10/10

Feels like good old arcade game, where one level is the only content and you just need to beat the highscore, luckily this time not only with three characters and unlimited coin, just dont forget to stop and go face the day..

The most immersive game that I have ever played, without any hassle with menu, inventory management, levelling system, maps, etc even there are no hud, they let you immersed in the really great depiction of how psychosis felt, there are even documentary of how they do the research and build gameplay element and story.. Short game, but a really good one, worth the money!
