A great game, highly recommend. However if you are wanting Adventure mode, I recommend waiting till its released later.

In Barotrauma, you play as a Crew-member or Captain of a submarine in the deep dark seas of Europa, under these leagues of ice, radiation, and stone is lost alien tombs, and struggling human settlements. The deafening sound of water, and a subtle PING from your sonar is most you will hear till ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan!

JOBS/ROLES
The Captains job is to direct other crew-members and drive the ship, with his trusty pipe and harmonica your sanity will remain stable while your other crew is busy stabbing each other for "clowning" or "huskifaction".

Security, when you aren't clubbing the others skulls in for not working fast enough for your taste, or trying to sneak into armory to take your ordained weaponry, you will be sitting on the guns watching for any abominable sea person trying to board.

Engineer, Job is simple, focus on the reactor, and repairs, if you screw up, the entire ship goes down in a gigantic nuclear explosion.

Mechanic is obvious, keep the ship floating by repairing its systems, and hull, expect to be yelled at alot during combat times.

Doctor, when you aren't fiddling with genetics of your crewmates(and most likely yourself) as if some kind of evil scientist, you're heavily dosing them with fentanyl, or morphine for the slightest scratch, giving them crippling addictions as prescribed by your totally "real" medical license.

Finally, The Assistant, your job is whatever the crew shouts at you to do, or you could be a little sly, and clown around, giving you near immortality to damage, and pressure of the massive depths of this sea.

The sounds, and music of the game is fantastic. It's art style takes a while to get used to, but when you do it's quite appealing.

There are many factions to ally you, and your crew with, two examples of the "radicals" is, a Church of Husk, a church dedicated to basically turning your self into a eldritch zombie monster. Then there is the Honkmonther, people who have heard the call of the clown horn, dedicated to having fun, clowning around, and making chaos wherever they go.

The amount of fetch quests in this reminds me of Runescape's One small favor quest.....
