The levels are rather decent, the guns are really neat, the controls feel good and its easy to play, and the music is alright

Yet honestly It's just boring some how to me and even on high difficulty It seems rather easy the enemies aren't very interesting to me, I always have ammo for everything at all times which is a pro or con depending who you ask.

There isn't really a middle of the road rating so I'll just give it a positive as it does have a lot of things right. I just personally find it kinda boring in the end.

Sorta boring and grindy and a lot of things feel the same, clunky or don't make sense based on description. I swear the saw the same map like 5 times already too in less than 30 minutes and things spawned in the same or slightly different spots! There's just so many better games in this genre I wouldn't bother with this one, I received it from a humble bundle, kinda wish I didn't lol

very short but its decent, couple bosses, guns, skills just a small little game.

It's just OK given it feels pretty lacking in alot of ways but its not terrible in others.

- The environment looks really good and the perspective view change when running through some areas was interesting, story is just okay. ending was somewhat surprising to me atleast.

- Level lay out could be a bit better, found myself fighting enemies a few levels higher off and on even with doing all the side quests i came across.

- Gun stats honestly kinda suck and leave much to be desired in telling whats decent or not.

- No sprint and it get tedious running between zones you can not fast travel to and from just so you can take an elevator to another area and use fast travel in that zone.

- Feels like you fight the same two types enemies for almost the entire game, bosses are honestly just a larger version of regular enemies for the most part.

- Really dont see any replay value here, nearly 100% everything just off one play and redoing it just to use a different type of weapon isn't appealing at all.

Kinda wish there was a button for something in-between like " okay ' etc as that would most accurately rate this, but ill give it a positive since i didn't have any bugs or issues and it was casually entertaining enough for me to want to finish it to the end.

It's a fun little game, it does seem expensive at first being 25$ ( I got it onsale though ) for what is essentially a 2-3 hour story but after playing it it doesn't feel so bad. replaying some things can be quite enjoyable and the firefight mode is probably where I will spend most of my time for now as some levels are very fun to play even on the hardest difficulty and I'm usually one to find one shot deaths annoying.

It's pretty much literally what it looks like on the store page, jump and dive on and through almost anything you can see as well as break just about anything you can find or blow a hole through it and go up or down a floor! Runs well for me and feels good.

It's pretty good over all and flows well with skills / gunplay, but its honestly more like a demo to their other game being made with how short this is. i'd avoid buying it unless you get it for around a dollar or 50 cents. You can literally beat it in 15 minutes 20 if you take your time. Only other thing of note is the voice acting is a bit bad, how ever I don't usually care for that type of thing but others may.

But i'll be marking it positive regardless since it was great hour and some odd minutes time killer / achievements for me personally.

A great little game! i quite like the aesthetic and art of it, reminds me of salt and sanctuary a bit, but a lot better for my personal preference.

Combat flows pretty well complemented by quite a few skills and abilities with armors to make yourself simple little builds or suitable styles. A decent array of talents and a few trees to pick from as well.

Does have a bit of back tracking once you find a power to unlock something or an ability you needed to reach a previous out of reach area, but isn't that to be expected in a game like this?

All and all and easy recommend and on a closing note the sound track wasn't to bad!

It's a pretty good rogue lite, quite a few unlockable things like gear, characters and talents as you progress. Steady progression so long as you manage to beat even just one boss and level up your character a bit after wards.

Runs can take awhile depending which paths / how far you go which brings it to the fact you can quit and resume later which is a great feature!

My oh my where to even start! It's just assets from the original dead island reused on two smaller maps which are half flooded. All the enemies are the same outside of two new enemies, one basically just being a bullet / dmg sponge and the the other being a screamer that does what you'd expect with the added fun of disabling you.

Bugs galore, every bug in the original is in this one it feels like, several quest did not work for my friend and I ( literally couldn't even accept the quest or turn in another). Survivor base teleports around as you progress in the story, as far as I can tell you lose all side quests pertaining to the previous location in some instances with no warning about that, also fun.

Things more or less come close to insta respawn, on the flip side this makes earning exp and money trivial, on the other hand it gets kinda old reclearing the area just because you took a few steps outside.

Weak story, boring / samey characters with one or two lines that get repeated constantly at you every second you move past some one, And the final things to add would be both maps are pretty terrible, boats suck, surprisingly short game time as well assuming if you can even do all your quests with out them bugging out.
