It was a rough start on release but through the updates its at a much better state. Big fan of the soundtrack and it really goes with the time period.
It does need some more love from Paradox as it can be greater still

decent game but so grindy its unbelievable and dont get me started on the weeb nonsense, became trash real quick.

Played hearts of iron since hearts of iron II and enjoy the game. i especially do have fun especially with multiplayer with friends but some games are just painful because of the line artillery meta/40 combat width which railroads you pretty hard to play as nations capable of putting infantry equipment and artillery guns to support these massive divisions.

Dont get me started on the communist/facist route for india (reeeee india is too OP give them -69% recruitable population), let me know how your supposed to kill the allies in the civil war when you have basically ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Nato landing in india to stop you.

Good game, Stupid development choices which mean i take breaks of playing it very often.

Graphics and sounds are pretty good, game play has potential and is decent at the moment.

Giant worm scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me and so does night time, i havent come across any bugs as of yet but even if i did i would report them and not give a bad review because an early access alpha has bugs unlike some incompetent ball sacks.

its an early access alpha ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, it wasnt meant to be a complete product.

If you like the premise of the game and have the money then buy and support the development, simple.

Considering how bad Rome II ran on launch and attila somewhat i think the devs have improved their launching capabilities since then, i have an Nvidia card and a computer that is 2/3 years old and it wasnt top of the line back then either and it runs good and i am not seeing an issues that the others are having with their titan SLIs and 32gb of ram.

I tried the first bits of each faction and found them interesting in different ways as they all work in different (some similar i guess) ways. I also read a review about someone saying that its just the empire fighting chaos ? I dont think he even tried playing the game as there are multiple human factions alone let alone the orc tribes which as either the empire or orcs you can deal with in different ways diplomatically or just crush them as far as i can see.

Only issue i am encountering is the multiplayer where it does takes a few minutes to put in game name/pass and hosting a game but its launch day and i imagine there are thousands trying to do the same and it will lag the servers, you dont need a degree in computing to know that but sadly the impatience of many dont comprehend this.

I look forward to the mods that may possibly come out and the future updates to this highly awaited game.

Edit: They just hotfixed the multiplayer issue.
