Denuvo has taken this one...

It's back stronger than ever with their all new Spyware anti-cheat running 24/7 on your PC with some great performance loss to back it up.

Bethesda has really sunk deep with this one seeing as this game was really well received. Damn shame. I'd suggest getting this game in less legal ways.

UPDATE: Id Software has promised to remove said anti-cheat in the next 1.1 update so once they release that I will edit my review.

Battlefield with swords, just what we needed. Love the combat, love the maps, love the customization. What a way to launch a game!

Hold on you're telling me there are NO microtransactions for this game?? This is one for the books folks!

Good alternative if you can't play CS.
Wouldn't say it's the best experience in the world as the physics are mediocre imo and it's p2w but it'll do when you can't play CS for whatever reason

Pros:

- Great soundtrack
- Long gameplay
- Decent car sounds
- Pretty cheap on sale which it is quite often

Cons:

- Horrible physics, they're easy and unrealistic if you pick a car with good handling. If you don't, well pretty much impossible to play
- Graphics are just weird, they're not actually that bad, but the resolution is crap, and the sun blinds you at higher settings. Also it just kinda flies around your screen, I don't know what they were smoking when they coded that in, but whatever.
- Story feels so scripted and is just not interesting imo.

Overall I think this is a game you should check out if you're a long time NFS player and looking for an old game. Though you're gonna be better off playing underground or Most Wanted 2005.

If you're not a NFS player please just go and play another game of the series because this one is not gonna give you a very good impression.
