Game is fun but the story mode is really really weak.

More of Z was playable in almost every other budokai game and the cut scenes are a bit awkward or just slideshows, buy for the core gameplay if anything else.

A standout in a market where everyone else was combusting, which Sony barely avoided doing to themselves JUST recently ironically enough- and almost saved my friend from relapsing into games he hates playing... Almost- which is more than anything on the market can say.

Rise of the walking Randies

This game is fantastic, while I've never played the game its most certainly inspired by, my childhood was mostly taken up by the standard skateboarding game fair which is why I was so excited to hop into it and it was a nice introduction.

Nice enough to dedicate weeks of my time (at the time of this reviews original posting) to 100% the game in terms of steam achievements- I haven't bothered to hunt down the rest of the music yet.

With the recent patch adding a dance pad to the hideout as well as a few other things they've rectified my only real issue with the game and now the only " BAD " thing I can say about it is that I wish it was longer, anymore paid content this game gets is an instant pickup from me.

But if you don't give a funky fresh ♥♥♥♥ about making that list look nice and neat then these will only prove to be small inconveniences, it's a fun time and even has a crazy modding scene coming together! Even after my annoying experience completing it I am already considering hopping back in and adding some challenges to my 2nd play through.

If you are at all into arcadey trick games the likes of JSR or THPS then it's a shoe in for your steam library.

A nice little addition if you're already a fan of team reptile or just lethal league

I'd only really recommend buying it if you REALLY like lethal league though

I'm not here to contribute to the review bombing, I wanted to post my genuine opinion about this game for the longest time, I've been playing near the beginning when they somehow let ♥♥♥♥ like no hero limits and zen somehow getting oneshot by a bodyshot of all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ things

I really didn't care for the later seasons of OW1 and really just fell off thing thing while goats was dominant, they choked OW1 out and now we're faced with this

On every front everything this re-release (i'm not calling it a sequel you can't make me) is not even trying to hide what it wanted to do, and I'm almost entirely certain that me consuming the souls of those who were dumb enough to buy lootboxes in OW1 is directly responsible for what we now have to deal with-

At the end of the day I'll buy anything for games that I like, who wouldn't? But I really can't shake the notion that not a single skin they are selling in that store is worth the asking price, more over the fact that for the first few WEEKS maybe even longer of OW2's shop being open they were selling recycled garbage, something OW fans are extremely used to consuming on the regular.

Disregarding all the idiotic decision making , and the undeniable downgrade from the first game for seemingly no reason, I would still say OW is fun to play, It irritates the hell out of me sometimes but in a vaccum this gameplay is still completely enjoyable on it's own. But I really wouldn't recommend it, if I hadn't played 1 I'd never even sneeze in the direction of 2!

Having to unlock all the characters in my team based hero game where you need to swap on the fly constantly is beyond irritating and flies in the face of the core concept of the gameplay

This is not a game its a spectrum

This game is one of the better online experiences I've popped in and out of. It's the kinda game where I'd suggest doing your research on it to see if it's really for you because I cant for the life of me figure out how to describe the gameplay loop in a way that doesn't make me sound like I love watching paint dry.

I'm usually very friend centric when it comes to games and games my friends don't care for that I still enjoy I tend to burn out on but with RDO I just can't leave it alone, it's justa shame then it's been kicked off a cliff by its infinitely inferior younger brother who keeps getting re-released every new console generation because they can't find a way to put cyberhorses in RDO to inflate the price of cocaine gum.

If you're like me and don't mind being pestered by the rare hacker and absolutely LOATHE the nonsense they keep cramming into GTAV then you will love this game, just know that you are getting what is here and basically nothing else since rockstar actively does not give a ♥♥♥♥ about RDO and it's an honest to god shame.

The game is slow and kinda monotonous in the fun kinda way, player to player interaction is rare and the amount of people putting on cowboy voices when you DO find someone is charming.

This game is a pretty alright time but it seriously lacks alot of polish and feels super clunky in a ton of areas. Overall I think it serves it's purpose of healing the hearts of people who like sonic but I still can't look past the games pretty large problems, atleast for me.

The draw distance in this game is terrible and it has pop in like no tomorrow, something that is downright impossible to ignore due to the amount of grind rails , springs and other stuff that just APPEARS a few feet infront of you.

Cyberspace can be fun if you get a grip on how sonic controls but theres no denying it's clunkier then something like generations where sonic controlled extremely smoothly which is strange since I think this is the part that'd be the best since they've done it right already. But I don't have nearly as much of a problem with cyberspace as I do the absolutely cold in the middle combat.

Listen I didn't expect DMC levels of crazy combos, but what we got is them just dipping their foot in the water and I'm pretty let down by it. Sonic waking up and choosing smoke was a big hook for me since I like action games alot but the only enjoyment your going to get from the system if anything at all is the bossfights. Every fodder enemy is either super annoying and after tapping them once they whip out a shield that you have to stop what your doing and cyloop before going back to fighting, a complete pace breaker that got super old after my 3rd encounter fighting them and anything short of the bigger miniboss enemies I wouldn't even consider throwing hands with.

I feel like they played it too safe and didn't really lean all the way into one thing or the other since no one feature this game offers feels like the real meat and potatoes so it just falls flat for me. It still very much served its function in healing the hearts of people who like sonic but just because I love ian flynns writing doesn't mean I like the rest of the game.

The game is the same but watered down and so, so much worse.

Seriously whoever cried clarity must play games with reading glasses because its no more or less clear what the hell is going on than the last time the game was playable and the game speed is so far removed from the fast and frantic gameplay I thought was fantastic before that its just exhausting to play now.

Not to mention the issues people are having just getting the damn characters or the braindead decision to tie battlepass progression to MISSIONS AND NOT MATCHES PLAYED????
