I must say this is not the type of game i would usually play, but i was pleasantly surprised as to what i received.

To start it off; the game is short but sweet.
The story was very interesting and deep. I felt proper emotions changing the more i played.
In those 1 and a half hrs i played i felt myself actually kind of connecting to the characters and wanting things to turn out alright for them.

The music was such an amazing choice. I enjoyed the music from the background sound to the cassette player to the music box. All great song choices and really fitting.

The gameplay was simple but enjoyable.
Very simple controls and objective and that's what makes it so great. A nice game where you don't have to actually try. You can hold your coffee in one hand and play with just your mouse hand, all to the sounds of calming music.

This game was definitely worth the price. It was a first for me but definitely not the last.

My thoughts on dead cells,

I can't say enough how much i like this game.
It can be played at a fast pace but also at your own pace which is quite good for casual players.
The fact that the map changes every time you die adds great replay-ability to the game,
just like the great arsenal of weapons and abilities which you can mix and match.

The soundtrack was quite lovable to hear through the mix of stages and really had me in the moment.
Hearing the music during boss battles really got me amped up and most definitely helped me within my battles.

I'd recommend this game to anyone who's a bit into rogue-like/lite games.

Thank you to the devs for a new addiction.

Great game, if you like fast-paced games i really recommend it. A great game for speedrunning aswell if you're into that, quite the challenging one for the game keeps getting more and more difficult.
