Well it is day one, I have put 15 hours in so far and not looking like in'm going to be stopping any time soon. Should say enough.

But if it doesn't, game is good. All the people who are moaning about the movement are probably just bad or deluded idk. Guns feel good, movement feels good. Play it. You'll probably like it. If you think the movement is underdeveloped, play Titanfall 2. If you think that the game is too fast, play Valorant. If you don't like shooters, why are you reading this review?

Though it says I only have 117 mins in this game, I've played on origin and xbox for years and have played Titanfall since it's release in 2014. I play a lot of shooters but Titanfall's unique movement and fantastic gun play makes it one of if not the BEST multiplayer experiences that I have ever experienced. The only criticism that I have is due to a lack of X-play, and the game being quite old now, I play against a lot of the same people. That being said, myself and many others, are still pushing Respawn to put Titanfall 3 back into development as there has never been a bad Titanfall game! I urge you to check the game out if you haven't, there is a great community as well :)

as a big titanfall guy, i'd recommend this game. as a big FPS lover, i'd recommend this game. as someone who never got into battle royals, i would still recommend it. It is a ton of fun, especially when you get into it and has pretty much the best SBMM i've seen in an FPS.

Update - Season 18 - The SBMM has gotten a lot worse, especially if you are a good player. Not sure what happened to the ranked system in S17 but basically your rank is now meaningless. Still a lot of fun to play, a lot easier to get into these days with more casual modes that are a lot of fun. The e-sport is also in a pretty good spot these days now that we have had a full year of LANs to enjoy. solid 8/10 game this season if you aren't a super omega tryhard

I have played Destiny since the first days of Destiny 1 and I have had a lot of experience with Destiny 2 on all platforms. Though Destiny has had a lot of ups and downs, it is now, in my opinion, brilliant. I would recommend it either as a free to play game or with the DLC content. However, due to an abundance of cheating and unsporting behaviour from certain members of the PC playerbase, i would only recommend playing on PC if console is not avaliable. I have found that the Xbox commnuity (and though not as competetive the PS4 community) provides the best competetive experience without the level of cheating that is curently abundant on PC. Hope this helps

- I am editing my previously very positive review to add a note from season 10. The game has gotten worse, the community has become more toxic and I don't see any news that would suggest this will change. Going forward, the biggest issue with the game is it's community. If you are a solo or casual gamer, this game is still very good. If you thrive in a co-op gaming environment, go play COD or something cos Destiny is trash when it comes to pvp community and a healthy co-op experience.

- Season 11 update: the game seems to be on the up though cheating is still ever-present and doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

-Season 14 update: the game has become increasingly more balanced. There are still frustrating aspects of the game but it is more accessible than ever. Would still recommend the game, but be warned that it can become a tad of an addictive habit.

-Season 17 update: The game has taken a turn for the worse of late with poor balancing in pvp and a boring pve grind that has a very poor and uninteresting cycle of content to work through. This has been made less of an issue with returning loot from the best period in destiny history. (season 7) However, this loot doesn't make the game what it was back then. Current verdict - mid.

- Season 18 update: game has become stale and tragically boring. However, with the new competitive PvP changes coming in the next season, all hope may not be lost. Would recommend giving the game a miss for about a month. Tune-in in December some time for some hopefully fresh content and a better grind. For now go play something else. Of course if you're the kind of person what sees a chronic heroin addiction as a 'positive lifestyle choice' then defo get on destiny as it will suck your money, life and mental/physical health from you in a very similar way.
