So Ive finally decided to kill off the mod, my ideas and dreams of becoming a successful and fun mod were made true and a large community was generated of people who wanted to kill zombies, but know my ideas have perished along with my time and my motivation.

Theres only so much you can do and what i did was fun and very educational, the source engine is a great engine to work with but id rather help others than drag around a mod that has halted in motivation and generally an actual team.

RIP Aftermath

The mod has been completed in code all i have to do know is test out servers and add the old maps back in with some material location alterations.

We will be doing some testing soon, hopefully i can grab some people and we can have a game or two check out the moddb page for the list of added stuff or fixed stuff, i wasnt able to get all the new features in but this release is focused on fixes, optimisation and some cool new things.

The mod is alot faster with this filesystem and alot faster with fading ragdolls, npc limit and alot of fixes.

Videos and screenshots will be out when we do testing, i did want to screenshot the loading screens but i have yet to create the images for it.

So back to work and what work have i got you may ask! Well not much actually to get the mod into a complete a playable state i havent got much todo but the new things i wanted to add will be some work heres a recap:

Hey there guys! First of all I would like to thank you for reading this news update as it will go over various information that you should know considering your favorite mod, AfterMath!

Let's just go ahead and begin.

First the big announcement of the update Alpha 3! This is a great update with new content that you need to play around with! We have 2 brand new weapons, and a new Egg map, Havoc, brought to you by our very own Jacol. Next would be Discussions. The new maps and the mod itself requires a great deal of team work to devise strategies and Egg Solving solutions, and you can help. On this Steam Group, there is a discussion tab where you can post, and reply to discussions regarding just about anything. Right now there is a How-To guide in solving the DieHard egg, as well as a start on the brand new Havoc egg, which is said by Jacol that this egg can only be cracked with teamwork! So what are you waiting for? Get into the discussion, and help us get past the zombie apocalypse!

The whole team has basicly come down to me and megapieman who are the most active members which has recently turned out to be untrue because of family and school issues.

Others such as madkiller are active but unactive to the project or have had no communication for more than 2-3 months some 4-5 months all will be removed.

Additions to the team are depend on the content they create there are some trail mappers which i believe are still active and there are some "third party mappers" who create maps for us.

Metaloid has been helping around and will probably end up in the team and if any body want to help us out contact me ( not megapieman unless he insists ), do not contact anyone else about the dc team even if its a listed user you never know who they are or what they do.

We are looking for animators, modellers, trusted testers(!) ( trusted means i have to trust you! ).
