Aftermath

Aftermath is a hl2 mod which involves the player killing waves of the undead with your friends or alone using weapons, your knife or even blow them up with grenades and set them alight with Molotov's.

Aftermath is point based and requires you to buy weapons and doors with points gained from killing zombies, new features at christmas include barriers which allow you to slow down zombies by blocking their path and zombie dismemberment were also adding leaderboards, experience and a donator system.

RIP Aftermath

So Ive finally decided to kill off the mod, my ideas and dreams of becoming a successful and fun mod were made true and a large community was generated of people who wanted to kill zombies, but know my ideas have perished along with my time and my motivation.

Theres only so much you can do and what i did was fun and very educational, the source engine is a great engine to work with but id rather help others than drag around a mod that has halted in motivation and generally an actual team.

The mod has been completed in code all i have to do know is test out servers and add the old maps back in with some material location alterations.

We will be doing some testing soon, hopefully i can grab some people and we can have a game or two check out the moddb page for the list of added stuff or fixed stuff, i wasnt able to get all the new features in but this release is focused on fixes, optimisation and some cool new things.

The mod is alot faster with this filesystem and alot faster with fading ragdolls, npc limit and alot of fixes.

Videos and screenshots will be out when we do testing, i did want to screenshot the loading screens but i have yet to create the images for it.

i recently got this game, but there was a glitch in which i could not buy the M3 shotgun in the map condemed (i think, you start out in the bottom floor of a house) i had 1400 points, the shotgun was 800, i spammed E and i could not buy the gun.
