ABOUT Trust in Medics Initiative

Medics that Utilize Strategy and Teamwork During Gameplay

We are a group of frequent doctors of Team Fortress 2 who encourage and promote strategy and teamwork during gameplay. Trust is more of community than a clan that shares the same core gaming values. We acknowledge and respect teamwork and the strategy, utilization, and benefit of the Medic class. The Medic is one of the most, if not the most important addition to any Team Fortress 2 team. The longer you can keep your teammates on the field without them having to respawn, the higher the probability of your team"s success. Most importantly, Ubers can destroy pesky sentries that impede on the team"s advance along with the opposition’s logistics. And yet even with these conspicuous advantages one can always encounter matches where Medics aren’t represented at all and someone has to request another to switch. If you experience an instance such as this, don’t expect victory or skill from you team. In fact we would recommend you leave the server. Some discredit the Medic from the get go because of his relatively weak weapons--blatantly false. The Bonesaw is a powerful weapon in the hands of a skilled player . We believe if you desire to become a skilled Medic, you must learn the ways of the Spy. It is seldom suggested...actually it"s never suggested that the Medic’s responsibilities constitute more than just healing. Well in our opinion the class is one of the chief Spy patrollers besides the obvious Pyro. The Medic’s second responsibility is to consistently be aware of his/her surrounds, patrolling the area for spies. Spies can come in between you and a vital advance. They can destroy sentry defenses, teleports, important advancing classes such as the Heavy, and most importantly, you. They follow behind the end of your pack so the Medic is usually one of their first encounters. The important thing to remember is always stay mobile; never stop and heal, jump and run around while simultaneously healing and observing your environment. This prevents spies from achieving backstabs and when they miss, they are exposed, allowing the rest of your team to take notice and deal with him…I of course like to teach spies a lesson by introducing Mr. Bonesaw to them. If you are able to destroy the spy, the aforementioned can all be avoidable, further increasing your chances of victory. If you would like to read up on the spy and his ways, go here: http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/file/437678/51095. Thus never leave home without a medic. Trust in medics and your team will go far.
