What is up Specialists!

It has been quite sometime since I have posted anything to this page...The last time I did post anything I was announcing our retirement. But now with the recent release of Counter-Strike 2. I have made the decision to re-open our doors and have us come out of retirement.

This has been a very long time coming. Speaking with some of the old officers and board members of =TS= for the years and planning furiously about a comeback/new beginning...Today is that day. I will post a road map about our future in the next coming months, but for now I would like to say "Prepare To Be SpeciaLized!!! "once again" (DAMN! It feels good to say that!)

=TS= has had an awesome history. Being one of the most successful gaming clans I had ever run and it came with so much joy and honor to interact with you all over the years, with this rebirth it is bringing all of those amazing memories back. Now granted...I started =TS= back when I was 12 years old, that is almost 20 years ago! Yikes!I will be turning 32 this week. I am married and have a family, but that doesn't mean I won't be active in this gaming clan, I will still be pouring my heart and soul into this like I did when I was 12.

Things to look forward to:

*No more Teamspeak...We have this new fangled invention called Discord, which makes everything so much easier to get together and voice chat or even just text chat. Some of our officers/board members have made the switch.

*Clan ranks and tags will still exist! :D (If you've stuck around since the beginning, you will retain your original rank)

*New friends and old friends! Yup! Anybody who is still around will be automatically grandfathered into our new rebirth and we will be actively recruiting and assemble a competitive team. If competitive isn't your scene, join our casual team! We are down to have members who want to hangout and have some fun.

*Last thing before I sign off...The website...Will it return? You'll just have to wait and find out. ;) <3

Hows it going Specialists? Been way to long since I've posted anything up here. To cut to the chase here as you can probably tell, =TS= hasn't done much of anything for the past 2 years. After 12 years of having this Clan/Community open to the public I have officially decided to shut it all down for good. =TS= will always live on in our hearts, the memories that we've all had with each other good and bad for the past 12 years will never be forgotton, the friendships we've all formed. It's been an amazing 12 years and I seriously can't thank you all for making =TS= one of the best Clans/Communities out there. You all are awesome! =TS= will always live on, don't ever forget that. We're all still friends, we're all still family.

Thank you all so much again, without any of you =TS= would be nothing.

January 15th, 2015 The Specialists Clan turns 10 years old! 10 years of kicking butts over video games, 10 years of meeting the best people ever! 10 years of building amazing friendships and 10 years of being a family. Nothing gets better then this.

I want to say, thank you so much to everybody in =TS= past and present for making =TS= the greatest clan to ever live. As we continue to still exist and also re-branded as a community. Here is to all of you and 10 more years! Let's make it happen! We shall all return for a HUGE comeback.

I have taken a lot of thought into this. Converting =TS= from a clan to a community of gamers.

We aren't competitive anymore and we mostly like to hang out, have fun and play games with each other
instead of competing. (Not a big deal) I personally prefer that myself. We do have fun competing against each other
in friendly, for fun events, which I would love to see return.

I want to take =TS= in a new direction. I also want to hear from all of you guys. As converting =TS= from a clan
to a community would mean all exsisting =TS= members would turn into "Legacy Members"

I completely understand that most of us have grown up, have lives, jobs, collage, and other responsibilities that keep us from gaming like we use to. (I am one of those, that is why I resigned and had to step down)
But instead of just closing down =TS= where we aren't just a clan, we are family, I'd like to see our family grow into something bigger and better for all of us.

So from here on, concentrating on just certain games like (Counter-Strike and Battlefield) is over with. =TS= will now focus on just playing games as a group and having fun.
Pick a game and play together, it's that simple.

=TS= ranking system will remain as is with a few major changes.

Change #1: Ranks will now show how long you've been apart of the clan (If you are a CAP or a GEN for example, that shows you've been apart of =TS= for quite awhile)

Change #2: We are adding in 3 tiers of "Officers" Any rank can become an officer, but it's more based on maturity and responsibility level.

*Tier #1: Full Officer Privileges.
*Kick, Perma. Ban, Recruiting, Game Night Organization, Full Server Control.

*Tier #2: Semi-Full Officer Privileges.
*Kick, 30 Minute Ban, Recruiting, Game Night Organization, Partial Server Control (Restart).


*Tier #3: Beginners Package.
*Kick, Recruiting.


Everybody plays a big roll into this though, not just officers. If you are a non-officer and you think you have a friend that is fit for our community, have he/she join the servers and have the members decide. Then talk to an officer.



Change #3: Legacy Status. I am thinking of a symbol we can add to names to show you are a "Legacy Member" or just have new "Community Members" use =TSN= (The Specialists Network) and leaving =TS= as our "Legacy Symbol". (Meaning you were apart of =TS= before we converted)

Change #4: Ranks are completely optional, if you want to show off how long you've been apart of =TS= then wear your rank with pride, if you want to leave it out, that is completly up to you. (=TS= at the end of your name is still required)

Change #5: Coming up with a way to earn a new rank. How long do you think you have to be apart of the "Community" to gain a new rank?


It doesn't matter if you are skilled or not, we are just looking for friendly people who like to have fun and want to be apart of a community.
But for the people who want to be "competitive" then you can form your own group of "Community Members" to make a team and lead on under the =TS= name (With an Officers aproval)


Recruiting: Recruiting is pretty simple. No more applications, if you're playing a game and somebody you're playing with asks about =TS= and they seem like a good fit for our community, let them in! No tryouts required! (Only if you want them for competitive play, but that is also up to an Officer to approve)

Communication: Main source of communication would be either on the Steam group page or Facebook. For Voice chat you can create a Skype group or use Teamspeak 3.
