The explosion shakes the floor and walls, sends (shimmering shards of) glass arcing, falling, tinkling, crashing on the floor. Your most hated/respected enemy, feared by the masses, impossibly climbs out of the ruined skylight (HOW?!). Your beloved hand-cannons come level, triggers are squeezed. Music blasts in your headphones, punctuated by the thud of your own heavy gunfire. You dive to the ground, sliding as you blast him. VICTORY, as you slide past his crumpling body, and fall into the Skylight Room. Into Chaos. A shadowy character steps around a pillar, levels his shotgun at your chest, only to be slammed into the wall by a flying sidekick delivered by the most epic video game martial artist you have ever met. That respect doesn't stop you from wasting him though. Your guns are knocked from your hands even as you see the kung fu man go down. Unarmed, you activate Slow Pause and the world is yours. Disarming the newly drawn katana from the man who disarmed YOU. Catch the katana in midair. Dive away, the katana thrown, skewering the opponent, you land right on your dropped guns, pick them up. Waste a noob. He calls hax. You laugh aloud, in front of your computer.
