Hello everyone!

Im excited to announce the first ever major Dota 2 tournament here at Penn State, The BELT-ERNATIONAL! What is that you say? Its an interntaional-style tournament setup with the grand prize being a custom championship belt, and a spot in Esports Club history. The tournament will kick off with a three-day round robin weeknend, with the top ten teams moving on to the next bracket. Then, over then next five weeks teams will battle it out for a spot in the Main Event, a LAN hosted on campus. Teams may begin to register now, and have untill the eighth of february to do so. Teams must all have a valid psu.edu email and a link to thier dotabuff included. The round-robin will be the following week. There will even be an official tournament website, hosted by Battlefy.com. Through there you can keep up to date on team rosters, schedules, and stream times/channels.

We have recently created our own division fb group and I would love to see everyone on it! It is within Groups at Penn State. Please join since we will be posting everything there as well and will hopefully transition to posting most of our announcements there.

So I've been super swamped with stuff lately and am just getting around to getting us rooms for our meetings. My question to you guys is this: what day/days work for you? I would like to reserve a room at a time when the most people can attend. PLEASE respond to this post OR the Facebook group so I can get an idea as to when I should reserve time for us.

Hey Gents. Lobby is now open for the weekly Sunday inhouse. I will be waiting for us to get 10 people in the lobby to balace teams. Love for everyone to be from PSU.
