If you want to drop a review on the game, you need to play it a little. Maybe thats a reason.

Ok, I installed it becauses I wanted to stream via Steam to some friends of mine. Now I want to login and it says I need to create a new account... seriously??? It is not possible to use my existing account? This would be pretty much a big downside... :-(

No it is not. There is a workaround though (just google it), but steam is steam and WG is WG. You still play on the same server though.

Renaming one file: check.

I heard doing that might be risky for our accounts, steam account or the WoWs account itself. Can you confirm it is safe Sehales? :D

As far as I can see I get no achievements... fair enough.

No I cannot. I don't think it violates our terms, but technically I would say it might violat the steam terms, however, no one can really check it. I am not a lawyer so I don't know if it is okay or not. I just know there are ways... As WG employee I would not recommend doing it (maybe check with steam support?) in private (like now) I would say it is totally up to you.
