2016 DOTA 2 1v1 Tournament Starts Today!

The pairings are now up for the $500 tournament. The ticket to watch the event is free. You can also watch the games at Cygnus Casting on Twitch. https://www.twitch.tv/CygnusCasting For those that are participating, please try to show 10 minutes before your match. The times are subject to change and will be announced in the group chat.

Registration for the 2016 Female Dota 2 1v1 Tournament

The registration for the 2016 Female Dota 2 1v1 Tournament is now up.

The tournament this year will be in two stages. First a Swiss-style tournament to determinine seedings and then a bracket tournament to determine the winner. The Swiss-style tournament will start on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm CST. The tournament seedings will be announced by 5:00 pm CST on Sunday, April 3, 2016. The bracket tournament will starting on Saturday April 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm CST until 10:00 pm CST. It will conclude on Sunday, April 10, 2016 starting at 2:00 pm CST and continue until it is finished.

The prize pool is again $500 as it was last year, but there will be a $5 entry fee. This fee will be waived for those that were not disqualified in the 2015 tournament.

Thanks Drunk Canadian (sounds like a good name for many nationalities!) We have an official English caster already, but if you wanted to back up if she isn't able to do the casting I'll keep you in mind.
