The Minecraft server is currently lagging on funding. It currently requires $29 to keep going in order to be around for update 1.8.

It's probably one of the best Minecraft SMP servers out there so it'd be a shame for it to die.

It has now been two years (and a day) since this group was founded. We’ve grown by 800 members in the last year (we did hit pass 3100 at one point, but group growth apparently mirrors kotaku) and we still have more room to grow.

In the past year we’ve ran a Black Ops, Team Fortress 2, and Bad Company 2 server. However these haven’t lasted (though we may be looking into a Battlefield 3 server if interest is high.) Group Officer NeoStarr also set up a Minecraft server which has been going strong the past year. As for myself I’ve not been too involved with the group as I was in the early days, and have taken to other ventures and silly things like finishing up at University. As always I recommend hopping onto the forum, which has recently had a little move to http://board.pressxordie.com/ (one of those other ventures I mentioned). So in the future don’t expect as many game events as I used to run or for too much TLC with the group, though you can get your fill of gaming events, including for consoles, on the forum.

As some of you may know, I'm planning on hosting a Starcraft 2 tournament for Bronze and Silver players.

Unfortunately, hype for this amazing event seems to be a little thin! Only TWO people expressed interest in our grand tournament of the lower-league champions!

So i figured you people might need a little inscentive in order to participate. Well, i can and will oblige, for we will have FABULOUS PRIZES for those that place in first, second, and third.

First Place Prize: You will recieve a 10 dollar (USD) game, gifted by your truely, from steam. But not just -ANY- 10 dollar game... oh wait, that's a lie! Literally ANY 10 dollar (or under) game your heart desires shall be yours if you place first in the tournament!

Second Place Prize: Same deal as before, though you only have 5 dollars to work with. That's still 1 times 5 dollars worth of sweet, sweet video gaming for your pleasure.

Third Place Prize: This is perhaps the most fabulous prize of all, though i hope the spirit of competition will stop you for throwing the finals in order to get it! The player who places third will recieve a custom-made My Little Pony pony. You, too, can experience the joy of your own pony, even with your own cutie mark!

Howdy Kotakuites! Killing Floor got you down? TF2 too much trouble? Aching for a little of that old-fashoned RTS goodness? Look no further!

Essentially, i want to get a Kotakuites Starcraft 2 Tournament going. Since none of us are especially godly at Starcraft (if you are, my apologies), i feel that keeping it limited to those in Bronze and Silver league would help draw the most contestants, and lets face it: lower leagues are fun.

No definitive plans yet, but if you are interested in participating, either as a player, or as an observer (easier to just have one or two people watch the games then sending me or anyone else a million replays to watch), please leave a comment, or message me on steam.
