Logged in today to see that the server config files have reset themselves, again. This has happened randomly several times in the past few months. On top of that the server process has a memory leak which requires constant monitoring. The amount of custom integration on the server makes it a chore to reconfigure, and considering that I don't really play KF2 anymore, yet alone have time to administrate it, I've decided to shut the server down.

I hope you all share the same great memories playing on the server like I do. But all good things must come to an end.

Last year Jaywalkers Tunnel was removed due to several game breaking bugs, however it has recently gotten an update that addresses those issues along with several other improvements. As such, I have returned it to the map vote list.

There are other servers masquerading as "Happycat" servers being run by an imposter and not me. I only run one server whose IP address you can see in the group description (52.228.24.111).

Only my server has a chat bot that provides various commands to players listed in the group description as well as an extensive ban list that excludes a lot of trolls and cheaters. Play on the imposter servers at your own risk.

After a grueling battle lasting over 10 minutes, the Patriarch, who normally has a lifespan of 10 seconds on this server, managed to kill all players and claim victory.

This is the first time in the history of this server that a group of players were defeated by a boss.

Given the significant number of changes to the game with respect to difficulty and balance, I have decided to reset all map wave records. All maps will return to a default wave record of 10 5 (edit: I had to lower the default because even getting to wave 10 can be a challenge!).
