A political party to add the R18 classification to the videogames rating system in Australia

After the recent refusal of the Classification Board to rate Left4Dead2, it has become apparent that the only way to influence this debate is by the only method a certain Attorney General will understand : VOTES.

This group is dedicated to exerting political pressure on the current South Australian Attorney General, in the hope that he will recognise community-wide popular support for the R18 classification to be added to videogames in Australia.

You may want hold your jaw closed to stop it hitting the floor, because the R18 Rating for video games is finally coming to Australia! This week, the Senate approved the new classification, which should start to roll out around January 2013.

This is excellent news for adult gamers (the average age of an Australian gamer is 30), who finally have the opportunity to play games aimed at a more mature audience. All of this has happened, at least in part, due to the massive support and outcry from gamers across Australia.
