WE WANT TEST SCRIPTS BACK!!!

OK, as of August 25th, 2009, around mid-day... Valve removed all the commands that scripters in Source-games rely on to make their scripts. Whether they"re good or bad scripts... any scripts that were made from the beginning of source, until now, are utterly useless.

We are asking people to speak up against Valve for this. WE PAID FOR THIS GAME, NOW LET US USE IT AS WE BOUGHT IT!!!

Just because there was an issue with crashing servers, doesn"t mean you should block the whole damn thing!!! PEOPLE CAN STILL CRASH SERVERS!!! The only command you needed to block was npc_speakall.

That would of blocked the retry script that was leaked all over the internet. I know this would of worked because I flagged npc_speakall as a cheat command on all of DIN servers and the script always failed when launched against our servers.

August 25, 2009 - Counter-Strike: Source Update Released

Updates to Counter-Strike: Source have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The specific changes include:

Engine

Fixed an exploit that allowed files to be uploaded to the server at arbitrary locations in the file system

Fixed a server crash caused by a client packet claiming to be an HLTV client when HLTV is disabled on the server

Fixed a server crash caused by spoofing a client disconnect message

Fixed a server crash caused by sending malformed reliable subchannel data

Counter-Strike: Source

Novint Falcon support is now enabled by default

just becouse they blocked the testscripts and the npc_speakall dosnt mean ppl cant crash servers anymore.. Man, i use to love valve, but thinking just by remove 1 command they"ll stop the crashers.. They did stop some of em, but they also stopped all the good scripters, and their best way to execute their scripts.. Btw, do u even think that valve even look at this clan channel?
