Your journey across Wam Bam Island culminates in a battle against a foe that may look familiar to some – Crawmerax Jr., the son of the great crab worm from The Secret Armory of General Knoxx add-on from the original Borderlands. Crawmerax Jr. is seeking vengeance on Lilith, Brick and Mordercai for brutally defeating his father over and over again. You must fight him off without their help so, you may want to call some friends to help you out with this one.

If you are successful in defeating Crawmerax Jr., you get the honor of wearing his head – but shrunk down to fit on your character’s neck since you aren’t an 80 foot crab worm. Each character gets a new beach themed skin as well, including Axton wearing an 80’s Aloha shirt and a certain dual gun wielding Vault Hunter prepping for a wet t-shirt contest. Oh, and make sure to bring your sun screen!

Borderlands 2 recibirá muy pronto Mad Moxxi y la Boda Sangrienta, el penúltimo contenido descargable (esta vez parece que de verdad) que llegará al título de Gearbox.
Si ayer nos hacíamos eco de que Borderlands 2 era el juego más vendido de la historia de 2K Games, hoy toca hablaros del nuevo contenido descargable, que está a la vuelta de la esquina, que Gearbox ha desarrollado para continuar haciendo crecer los imparables números que maneja Pandora.

Mad Moxxi y la Boda Sangrienta es el cuarto episodio de la serie de DLC Cazadores de Cabezas, y nos pondrá como misión el intentar juntar dos clanes que se odian entre sí. Tiroteos, bodas, pociones de amor, mucho caos y Mad Moxxi es un buen resumen de los elementos que nos brindará esta nueva campaña. Costará 3 euros y llegará el 11 de febrero a Xbox 360 y PC, y un día más tarde a PlayStation 3.
Gearbox también ha tenido a bien reconocer que tras tantos contenidos descargables (muchos de calidad, eso sí), han llegado a un 'límite' técnico en Borderlands 2, por lo que, para bien o para mal, pronto tendrán que pasar página. Aun así, todavía queda una nueva campaña en la seria Cazadores de cabezas por ver la luz (Sir Hammerlock contra el hijo de Bucherax será su nombre), por lo que nuestras aventuras por Pandora aún no han terminado.
Esperemos que el hecho de terminar de trabajar en las versiones de PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 y PC de Borderlands 2 permita a Gearbox y 2K Games compartir más información de la de PS Vita (de la que se sabe realmente poco) por un lado y del aún lejano Borderlands 3 por otro.
