ABOUT Help Make a New TF2 Community with Benny Hill!

TO ALL WHO'VE JOINED: Thanks guys :)

Hi there, this is your ol' buddy Benny Hill. If you were invited to this group chances are you're a good pal o' mine.

-= Why this Group? =-
My former clan, the Cuties, has gone down the drain due to bad spending practices and sub-par management :( Because of this, I am now alone without a clan to help manage.

Well I've always felt the urge to start up me own fun community, starting slow and building up to the point where a server is financially viable.

-= Why you? =-
If you were invited to this group by Benny, it means you were on his friends list. That's right, this is no more than a spam invite. If you hate my guts, go ahead and ignore this invitation. On the other hand, if you've always wanted to help start a community, or if you were in the Cuties and feel left out after its demise, join me! I promise it'll be a fun adventure.

If you're already in a Clan with a capital C, know that this will not become a Clan. Though Clans are fun as Clans, I don't want to be the leader of one. I'd rather be the leader of a great community of buddies. So, unless your Clan doesn't allow joining good ol' communities, don't worry about hitting Accept.

-= What's needed? =-
I need people with a bit of spare time (not much!) and a love for Source games (doesn't have to be TF2). I also would love to have resources like game servers and web servers, but that's something I'm only expecting to get set up after a good amount of time.

-= Why join a new community? =-
If you go TF2 or L4D alone, you should know that it gets dull after a while. On the other hand, playing multiplayer with a healthy clan or community is far from dull! Believe me, back in the heyday of The Fallen it was quite a fun community. Of course, that was back in the summer when everyone had free time. We need more members to have a good community experience during school days (also older members who are in college or later!).

You should join this community if you want to meet people (not necessarily IRL of course) who might have mics, who aren't complete idiots, and who want to have fun with you. Doesn't mean you must have a mic or can't be an idiot, of course ;)

-= Ok. You joined the group. Now what? =-
Benny loves you! Now, if you have steam friends, why don't you invite them as well? Don't worry, this won't turn out to be some lame scheme to get a bunch of people in a steam group. I have plans, son, PLANS! We will be BIG! I know how to make teh wobsites! And teh survers!

The first step towards making this community great is getting people to join it, so help me out if you share the wish to help start the best TF2 community ever!

Join this group so you can have fun with other people who are cool. And invite people to it if you think it's a worthy cause. Benny loves you. Yadda yadda yadda.

Ok, I've set it up so it works in both windows and linux in my dual-boot situation. This was very confusing but now it works.

If you already made an account you'll have to start over since it's a new database. Luckily you won't get the FOR OH FORUMS anymore since I'll be running my server round the clock.

If you do get a "server not found" error or the like, it means I'm restarting my computer. It should pass after a couple of minutes. If not, then I forgot to turn on my computer. OH NOES. I'll try to keep it on as much as possible from now on.

PLEASE JOIN THE FORUMS SO WE CAN HAVE SOME DISCUSSIONS N STUFF.

AND I MEAN YOU CUTIES AS WELL NOW THAT YOUR FORUMS HAS PERMANENTLY DISSAPPEARED.

Also I have a backup of the cuties forum so I may decide to import some of the old categories perhaps.

I WILL BE DISSAPOINT IF NO ONE SIGNS UP FOR THE FORUMS. I WILL BUG YOU GUYS. Please, lets make this a nice community for discussions.

Oh, and by the way, it was good to play with the bunch of cuties that other day. Nick allowed me to get 56 assists in one life, a new record for me. Also on the recordbooks for that life, 7 dominations. BEST DEMO A MEDIC CAN HAVE!
