A series of weekly play times has been initiated with rotating game modes for every Saturday. The time (day and hour) can be tweeked to accomodate the largest number of players so let us know if the timing should be changed.

Edit: Post in the comments your preference for map rotation or let us know if you will be joining us but do not have the DLC.

If somebody up to play right know atm, just at me. I creat a group for Cybot if we get enough ppl.

First of all, can someone give me some informations/experience about playing now atm?

I set up an event for the next Friday, if you guys are up to play on certain times we can do this maybe one-twice on a week . But it depends on the participation from the group :).

The creator of the "Fair and Clean for Space Marine" steam group asked me to post this on our steam group. I think it would be nice if we could support each other. We all want the same after all.



Please give us a VAC protection
Hello all, and welcome to the VAC protection group of Space Marine.

This group was founded as a neutral ground and its sole purpose is to serve the game we all love, in the face of those who would threaten it with their unfair way of playing. We can only do this together and only in large numbers. For this reason everyone who plays Space Marine is welcome, even if there will be a few black sheep among us.

So I ask you to ignore all the clan rivalries or dislikes and, in the name of the game, send all our voices together to Relic and Sega to ask them to give Space Marine the VAC protection it deserves. This group was founded as a petition group and membership implies approval.

A particular praise goes to Sgt. Pedro who had this idea and asked me to take action.

Diese Gruppe wurde als neutraler Boden gegründet und dient einzig dem Zweck das Spiel welches wir alle lieben vor jenen zu schützen die es mit ihrer unfairen Spielweise bedrohen. Dies können wir jedoch nur gemeinsam schaffen und nur in grosser Zahl. Aus diesem Grund ist in dieser Gruppe jeder willkommen der Space Marine spielt auch wenn es bedeutet, dass das ein oder andere schwarze Schaf unter uns sein wird.

Daher bitte ich euch alle etwaige Clanrivalitäten oder Abneigungen zu ignorieren und im Sinne des Spieles alle unsere Stimmen zusammen an Relic und Sega zu richten um sie zu bitten Space Marine die VAC protection zu geben die es verdient. Эта группа была основана как нейтральная площадка для объединения игроков и защиты всеми нами любимой игры перед лицом тех, кто нарушает ее нечестными способами.

Сделать это мы можем только вместе. По этой причине мы приветствуем всех, кто играет в Space Marine, даже если среди присоединившихся будут «паршивые овцы». Я прошу Вас, ради Space Marine, отбросить все клановые распри и личные антипатии, чтобы мы могли отправить наши голоса для Relic и Sega, и попросить их установить игре VAC-защиту, которую она так заслуживает.

if you do not know, Discord is a free voip service with a lot of benefits over the other voip programs i have seen.

first, you do not need to download anything if you do not want. all of Discord can be accessed through the major browsers. but if you do not mind downloading software, and i think it is worth it to do so, you can get it on your computer and your mobile device.

second, you do not need an account. but this is different than mumble or teamspeak, because to use Discord you do use an account, it can just be temporary. when you first get on you set a nickname. then if you like it and decide to stay you can add an email address and make the account permanent. the account provides the benefit of being able to access your communities from all your devices or from any computer through a browser. if you do not want to keep the nickname then you can just continue to use the temporary account and it will disappear after you disconnect.

third, your account provides a continuous experience from all your methods of access. so unlike mumble and teamspeak if you are chatting from your pc and then need to leave your computer but do not want to leave the discussion, you can access the same community from you mobile device without doing anything more than signing in on the app. and it works the other way too.

fourth, unlike on this steam group where it tells us how many are playing A steam game, on Discord it is really easy to see what game people are playing. at least if the person allows their status to display the game they are playing. so rather than mousing over each steam profile avatar to see what game they are playing, you can easily see who is playing space marine just by scrolling down the list of online players.

from my point of view i see a discord server as a real potential benefit for the people of this group because we can have a community in which it is to see who is online, chat, and organize games whenever, not just with a scheduled event.

scheduled events are great though, as they will be more likely to get larger groups together to play.
