A New Focus
With the new year, we're starting out with a new focus. Starting from the bottom, and working our way up, our focus is the Fireteam. Our lessons and exercises will all be geared around the roles within the fireteam, fireteam/buddy movement, equipment and small unit tactics.

Wednesday Training
Wednesday training is coming back as a regular feature of ATC. While we're still hard at work developing lesson plans, Training will likely be every second Wednesday, alternating with a Wednesday public game of ALiVE or similar.
A secondary training session will be held on Sunday afternoons for those who can't make the Wednesday session.

Training Layout
Our new training lay out will consist of structured lessons, focusing on particular roles or skills. The lessons will be supplemented by Battle Drills, small exercises for practicing common scenarios. Large exercises will also be organised in the near future.
Each lesson/training session will aim to run at around 1 - 1.5 hours. Some more complex topics may be broken up in to 2 lessons/sessions.

School of Infantry
The new School of Infantry training mission is almost ready for use. It includes classrooms with slide shows, ranges and courses with all the material needed for the lesson plans in development.

The ATC Wiki
All training material will be kept on our very own Wiki. The Wiki itself is still a work in progress, but it will contain our lesson plans and exercises as well as general information and SOP's for members. The Wiki should be ready for presentation before too long.

Plans for the Future
Within the next few weeks, we aim to have;
Recruit/Induction Training
Rifleman Training
Grenadier Training
Automatic Rifleman Training
Light AT Training
and eventually we'll work towards a Fireteam Leader Training.
In addition to developing the Lesson plans for each of the fireteam roles, we'll also be filling in the information for the Wiki as we go and continuing to build on the School of Infantry training mission.

Attendance Requirement
From the inception of ATC, it has been an expectation that members attend at least 1 tac and 1 training session per month. If anyone has trouble meeting this requirement, please PM your PLT SGT or PLT Leader on the ORBAT. Attendance will be recorded.

Qualifications & Specialist Roles
Qualifications and specialist training are something that we will be having a serious look at in the future. For now, our focus is on getting training off the ground and building up our small units (buddy-pairs and fireteams).
