The main goal of the Steameum project is to create an environment
which will be safe to trade real money for steam items.

the bots will be the middleman of the trade , holding the items until the trade is confirmed by the block-chain.
When the payment gets through with the verification the bots will send a trade offer to the buyer with the agreed item.
before you send the payment the bot will send you a steam link with the item/items reserved for you on its inventory.
