We"ve had a good run sustaining this community for nearly 6 years, and I"ve enjoyed creating 2 entire gamemodes as well as expanding Half-Life 2 Campaign and Zombified World as many of you have probably enjoyed playing on.

Unfortunately, I have increasingly lost time and interest in maintaining the community and its gamemodes when there isn"t even any active admin around on any of them anymore. Therefore I"ve thought lately about putting an end to Left2Scandinavia, as it just appears to be a waste of my money to pay for servers that hardly have any players on them most of the time – and all efforts to revive the player base has often had the opposite effect. With this lack of motivation, combined with my server provider shutting down their business and the increasing age of Garry"s Mod, I see no reason for continuing to keep this community alive.

That said, there are of course some people who"ve actively kept the servers alive over the course of the community"s existence by simply playing a lot. To all of you (whom are probably still in this group) I say thanks, you"ve helped me stay motivated during the development process and I don"t know what would"ve come out of the community if it never would"ve gotten any players at all.
I"d also like to thank the nice admin staff we"ve had over the years, with Yrr and Timbuk helping Half-Life 2 Campaign grow a lot in its early days and with Darkfiro keeping their spirit alive after they stopped playing Garry"s Mod.

During the last year we"ve also had the recent welcome addition of Zombified World, in which Nekoace helped a lot in both administrating the server and contributing a lot with some of its contents alongside Infinity. I"m sorry to say that we never achieved the revival of ZW that we had hoped for, but at least we gave it an honest attempt.

Now I say my final good bye, we"ve had a good run, but it"s time that I move forward, away from Garry"s Mod to do other things – as many of you have already done before me.

All servers will be shut down by the end of this month, so if you want to play Half-Life 2 Campaign, HL2Survival, Zombified World or Zombie Master one last time, then it"s probably a good time to do it soon.
