RIP Akira Toriyama

Today the world was notified about the death of Akira Toriyama.
He died on March 1, 2024.

Toriyama was not only the creator of Dragon Ball but also inspired and helped in the creation of many more characters and stories.

He shaped the world of manga/anime and especially the shōnen genre in a way not many did. Without Dragon Ball and its popularity we wouldn't have most of our all-time-favorites cause most anime are inspired by Dragon Ball in one way or another.

Akira Toriyama was really a once in a lifetime manga artist.

Rest in peace!
