ABOUT Blue Tournament RTW II

One last big tournament before Attila Total War

Basically we wanted to create one last big tournament before Attila comes crashing in and tried to involve as much of the community as possible because it is not just about the total war games, but rather more about the people who you meet and play with.
So expect to see many familiar names, some of them old and not seen around much but most of all expect fun and enjoyment and this is the attitude you need to have to participate.
The rules will be written and carved out in the following days but the main idea is the following:

64 people, 1st round best of 1, 32 people best of 1, 16 people best of 3, 8 people, best of 3, 4 people best of 5 and finals best of 5. The idea of it is that it would work in a way that after you win a match with a faction you lose that faction but if you lose a match you dont lose the faction however you can only use it against your next opponent if you make it there. Which means that when you reach top 16 you are left without 2 factions, top 8 without 4, top 4 without 6 and finals without 9 and to win you need to use at least 12 different factions

Rules for FINALS and BRONZE matches

Starting off congrats to all four of you for making it here. Playing for gold or Bronze we and I am sure all who were watching were really enjoying the semi finals battles.

Finals need to be played AFTER Bronze Matches. Matches need to be arranged in advance with a set time and confirmed by me. (So we can get the live streaming, commentators and anouncements going)

Matches however need to be played from Friday till Monday (not including Monday) as Attila is here and we need to wrap this up.

Without further ado here are the rules for the FINALS

1.
It is best of 5 - so until someone has 3 wins

2.
In case of a loss that faction will be like in semi finals in lost

3.
The only maps which can be used are the one listed bellow with the exact coordinates listed bellow - attackers direction is always North (if needed - wanted I can come and set up the maps and then leave before the battle)
And one more thing, every time a player picks a map it needs to be a different one (meaning Player A has to each time pick a different map, naturally player B can pick a map which was already picked by player A)

If the battle is not played on a map with specific coordinates the result will be nullified if the opponent who lost wishes so. If the player picks the same map more then once and the opponent loses, he can again appeal. So be sure to set the maps right

MAPS for FINALS and BRONZE matches are:

As mentioned for finals and bronze matches special rules for factions will be used which will prevent any too big of inbalances in terms of factions left and will make finals and 3rd place battles a bit more interesting:

The rules are simple:

- Player A (bottom of the Brackets) -> Bans two on the remaining factions Player B has left.
- Player B then bans two of the remaining factions Player A has left
- Player A picks a faction, map and conditions on the map (seasons, weather effects etc)
- Player B counter picks a faction

in the second, third and potentially fourth and fifth battle repeat the proccess

5. I do not wish to see any kind of antics of bending the rules, faul play, not playing as the designed attackers you are (unless one is Nomad then one is the defender) and so on and I mean it, the games will be most probably live streamed they are to represent a nice closure to the tournament and wouldnt want them to be ruined by some people taking them as some kind of stage to show that winning no matter the cost is more important then playing for fun.
So consider this a warning in advance.

Rules for Semi Finals

1.

For finals special rules for factions will be used which will prevent any too big of inbalances in terms of factions left and will make finals and 3rd place battles a bit more interesting, so I advise all not to cling on to their factions which they have left too much as they may not be able to use them in the ginals or 3rd place battles.
