Full of cheaters cause Capcom doesnt care but an highly underrated game.

I wish they didn't kill this, it was awesome.

While the game itself isn't completely for the garbage can, the circumstances definitely justify the “Mostly Negative” ratings.

Even with a few hundred fellow players and supported by an alternative reality, in which I really wanted this game, at most I could recommend it for fans of the series.

But this reality is different. Here you are being FORCED to to add an (un)-dead, below-average MULTIPLAYER game to your library when you buy a SINGLEPLAYER game (Resident Evil 3).

As an Achievement Hunter, I really like the challenge and currently enjoy the Resident Evil series, but this is ridiculous. Challenge turns to suffering. And you can only play against the 25-50~ active players, there's not AI to make this feasible.

My experience after 11 quick matches:

• Wait 3-9 minutes to get into a lobby
  
• All players were only ready once within 30 seconds, the average wait was between 1-2 minutes
  
• Depending on the players/host/servers it took 0.5-3 minutes to enter the actual match
  
• I actually entered the match in 6 out of 11 games, all other quick matches rest ended before that
  
• In 4 of these 6 games I was actually able to play for a while
  
• 1 of the 4 games ended with a early disconnection
  
• 1 of the 3 games was impossible to win because the mastermind cheated or overpowered

RESULT: 2 out of 11 quick matches were playable

If you're lucky enough to get into the actual match after passing through the long-awaited lobby, chasing achievements is no longer fun. The game is therefore in my opinion, at the end of 2024, unplayable. If you could play against bots it would be something else, but I have no expectations so long after the release. And building a dedicated group to FARM achievements is a step too far for me. That's why I'm throwing in the towel. I see the existence of the SteamAchievementManager as justified for cheese like this.

Furthermore, you can't get rid of the game in Steam Support without also removing Resident Evil 3 from your library. Why the purchase of this irrelevant game is tied to Resident Evil 3 is surely also being questioned by the bright minds at Capcom itself.
