Game crash

I tried running the game but it just crashes before start up, im running windows 10 64bit, id like to know if this worked on winodws 7 before hand as running it in compatibility for 7 does not work.

Bonjour chers camarades amateurs de VF ! Vous n'êtes pas sans savoir que la saison 2 de Sam & Max ne bénéficie pas de son excellente VF dans s aversion Steam, chose très triste. Il se trouve que je suis parvenu, grâce au sacro-saint Ebay à mettre la main sur une version PC Française du jeu ! J'aimerais mettre les voix Françaises à disposition pour tous mais je ne sais absolument pas comment ! Pouvez-vous m'aider s'il vous plaît ?...

But I need a bit of help for that. To make the subs work, we have to remove the accentued characters so I need a list of all accentued characters for each language.
