Someone played this game lately? The first time that i buyed it i had to refund it bec the bugs. But if its patched and can confirm all is fixed i wanna buy it again

Hello i have a serious problem climbing the sticks up after the whole worm/doors/staircase scenario. It seems every time i pick the stick above me with the other hand i teleport back down more or less the same amount of space i would climb up, climbing to the top is really really difficult, especially when changing the sticks, no way, i just hang in mid air and have to grab the first stick again...any suggestions? apart from that i love the game so far :) ...
