can someone tell me what does fighterZ edition add?

I'm a newbie to this game but have experience in other fighting games, I'm a bit of an obsession with this game at the moment but barely have any experience and I want to fight some people who are new or are alright beating up a newbie and showing me the basics of the game...

So, I've noticed that, in Local matches against AI(or rather, against AI in general), the AI just, ignores your block input every now and then, like recently(as of writing this post I am playing this), I get back up from a knockdown, I delayed it on purpose, and I hold back IMMEDIATELY upon getting up, but Frieza does the dash and I get hit despite standing and holding block, like the game doesn't register my block input at all.
