This game has given me a new appreciation for magical girl media, as despite all its flaws, I do think I really like this game, and will be playing the second one.

After watching the anime, I realized that this series is a lot more than what it seemed like at first glance, so I would really really really recommend diving into it if you enjoy magical girls.

The sidequests are extremely basic and very repetitive, but I didn’t really get tired of them, since the game is fairly short. My biggest gripe with this game is that the male gaze is prevalent in almost every aspect of this game to a rather disturbing and distracting extent. Between the incredibly stupid DLCs and the gratuitous “fanservice”, I found myself always wondering, was this really necessary?

Despite all this, the game itself is rather harmless and cute, with fun and likeable characters, although they are pretty one-dimensional. The music in this game is absolutely incredible and the story is surprisingly pretty decent even though the story’s twists and turns are mostly back-loaded, that’s not necessarily a problem if you enjoy the everyday school life theme, and you really do come to care for the characters.

The combat can be fun at times, though it is not very challenging, there is virtually no enemy variety and you will never be killed in combat. The only way to gauge which skills are supposed to be better than others is their MP cost, however, the fragments system makes trying out new combinations for different skills pretty fun.
The menus are very pretty and serve their purpose well, although sometimes the wording of some things is inconsistent, and throughout the whole game there are quite a few typos and some skills with nonsensical descriptions.

Overall, it’s a sweet albeit predictable story with a great soundtrack, a likeable cast, a decent combat system and a nice message. The game runs well, looks good, and doesn’t feel like a chore to play.

Compared to second light, this feels more like watching a anime high-school life with magical girl settings.
The story for me the first about 60% of the game dont really have too much to do with the game story which just about some conversation between character and character, but after then story does get really really interesting.
i would say i would more recommend second light over this but this game are still a great one

:yes there is connection between these 2 game but it didnt spoil much about each other which is okay to try second light first before this.

I played The 2nd game First,,
So it is good to see Yuzu, Lime and Hina in their Own time.
I do love these games. They are a lot of fun and you need to go through the steps.

It's a cute story with light and Dark moods, along with emotional issues.
There are the Odd words out of place, Very few and far between.
