My secondary colony is starving, and my dupes are just sitting there drooling in the void... Supply Teleporter is on yellow alert priority, my mechatronics engineer has max priority on storing and everything else is disallowed, I've set the filters to all the edibles I own, both teleporters are activated. and STILL nothing. Low heat cap. Stays liquid most of the time. High thermal conductivity. What uses are there...?

In theory it makes sense - in a closed system you're turning thermal energy into kinetic energy, but in practice why doesn't this work? Edit: What I meant is in regards to temperature control, rather than any implications about how much energy this process would consume in real life....
