What is the "Worst" Computer This Game Can Run Decently on?
See title. I have a friend with an entry-level computer (not really a gaming computer) who might enjoy playing this game. Can this game run decently on a computer with integrated graphics? I think his computer has 16 GB RAM. I know the graphics on this game aren't really "fancy" but I also know it's a fairly deep game. I don't know how that affects how well it runs though. Thank you in advance.

I've gotten it to work on a fairly old machine, a Dell something or other that was manufactured in 2013, with integrated graphics and 16 gibs of memory. You might need to use the '32 bit compatibility' branch of the game to get it to work though. The game was upgraded from XNA to some more modern libraries between 1.5 and 1.6 sometime and this can cause issues on older computers
I also play it on some way underpowered laptops which also, I guess, don't have GPU cards

I have a fairly older machine I guess I can try it on. Thanks for the information.
I'm running my game with only 8GB of Ram with an Intel i5, your friend is well-equipped to play the game.

Yeah his processor is definitely way newer than an Intel i5. At least I think so? Isn't an i5 from like 2013?
You can run the game on raw potatoes. However, on boiled potatoes you might experience some lag. But should still run decently :brownchicken:

One should expect some crashes every now and then, but not totally out of the question.

game is from what 2016 by one guy not exactly pushing the limits, basically a SNES/GBA era of graphics and processing which is what 2003?

had some issues personally with 1.5 so i switched it over to compatability /legacy mode in the betas and it runs smooth as butter.

if the computer can handle youtube it can handle stardew valley.

It can be played on a phone, that's all you need to know. Worst case scenario if they can't play it steam has a 2 hour return policy.

it ran on a potato when it was released 7 years ago, and afaik the minimum requirements have not increased. pretty positive you can't even get an entry system with specs like this any more. also yes, I play it on my mobile.

CPU SPEED: 2 Ghz
RAM: 2 GB
VIDEO CARD: Graphics card with 256 MB video memory,
DEDICATED VIDEO RAM: 256 MB
OS: Windows 7 or greater
FREE DISK SPACE: 500 MB

It requires 2GB of RAM, guys. *2GB*. Remember when? lolsob.
