No achievements are unlocking. I know there are other discussions about this, but I haven't found a solution.

Pretencious nature aside, this game has a few plot holes. First off, it has been confirmed that there are other planets in the same range from stars to support life. So that is hole number one. Second, while you can curb the population over time I think humans would have noticed their going extinct (and please don't get me started on the tired 'the computer did it' villian). I've beaten the large worm, but now I cannot do anything more, "The Fathers" are unkillable without further upgrades and everywhere is blocked by green ivy. Before I look at using cheats is there a legitimate way to progress?
